Final ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Trailer Will Kick Your Ass

As much as we love a good X-Men movie, we will be the first to admit the promotional efforts for Days Of Future Past have left us a little on the fence about the team’s upcoming adventure. That is, until we saw the film’s final trailer.

Clocking in at just under three minutes in length, which is more than enough time to make your eyes water with tears of pure joy, the third trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past focuses almost all its energy on the larger-than-life action sequences that have largely been kept in the shadows up to …

Channing Tatum Has Met With Producers About Playing Gambit In Future ‘X-Men’ Films

This is the kind of story that will either fill you with excitement or send chills down your spine. For us, it’s the former, but for many it’s likely the latter. To those of you picking chills, all I can say is – get over it. Studios need star power to ensure box office draw, and it does not get much bigger right now than Channing Tatum. Cross your fingers he does not bastardize your childhood and hope for the best. It is all you can do.

Channing Tatum revealed during an interview with MTV that he has met with …

New ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Clip Gives Us X-Men In Action

Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards gave us clips of a number of upcoming summer movies, including yet another clip showing off how the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past became the second most expensive film made by 20th Century Fox.

The one-minute clip, taken from the film’s opening sequence, has sentinels discovering a few of our beleaguered heroes, who immediately launch into a delightful power-using frenzy. We see a phasing Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), an ice-surfing Bobby Drake (Shawn Ashmore), and a portal-popping Blink (Fan Bingbing), along with shots of Bishop (Omar Sy), Colossus (Daniel Cudmore), Sunspot (Adam Canto), …

Watch The New ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Trailer

The second trailer for this summer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past is out, and it is bleak. Cities are in ruin. Sentinels are dropping from ships and shooting lasers out of their faces. Old Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) gravely exposit the film’s plot to the soon-to-be-time-traveling Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) as their younger counterparts (James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender) speak just as gravely on teaming up, even as they continue to fire shots at each other.

The two-and-a-half-minute reel largely favors those heavy hitters, with a dash of Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) thrown in, but it also …

New ‘Days of Future Past’ Photo Showcases Quicksilver, Xavier On Two Feet

In the coming years we will have not one, but two different versions of Quicksilver in theaters. One for the upcoming mutant time-travel adventure, Days of Future Past, as well as an iteration in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron (though don’t call him a mutant in that one, Fox’s film rights prohibits the use of the word “mutant” in marvel films).

But, with all the news flowing around the speedster, we have yet to see what either incarnation will look like, until today that is. In a new photo, we get a glimpse at the X-Men version of …

Bryan Singer Talks ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Yep, you read that headline right, Bryan Singer has shed some light (if only a crack) on the X-Men’s next adventure.

In a small, but intriguing interview with Entertainment Weekly, Singer has confirmed that as of now, he has not signed on to direct the film, but that his “desire would be to direct it.” “I’m co-writing the story and I’m producing it,” Singer continued, “I’m negotiating to direct. We’re in the process. We’re trying to figure it out, schedules.”

Singer also mentions that he is still deciding whether or not there would be a nod to Apocalypse in his …

Hugh Jackman Says Wolverine Is At Home In The ’70s

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman says that the ’70s is the perfect place for Logan, as we find him there in the newest X-Men film, Days of Future Past.

We will find the primal mutant sent back in time to the era, with the hopes of warning the younger Mutants of a future that they can redirect.

On the specifics of the time period, and how it relates to Logan, Jackman says that “he’s a warrior and he can’t hide from that anymore, even if the consequences are going to be messy and …

Rogue Has Been Cut From ‘Days of Future Past’

Days of Future Past may be my most anticipated superhero film of 2014. With the small taste we have been given from the astonishing debut trailer, the film is looking to be one of, if not the best X-Men film to date. Unfortunately, as we have found out today, Days of Future Past will screen without Rogue.

In news coming from director Bryan Singer, he says that Rogue’s only scene has sadly been cut from the film. “Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous,” says Singer. But, he does have hopes for it to at least make the …

Take A Look At Wolverine’s Suit From ‘Days of Future Past’

A newly released image from Studio Ciné Live’s upcoming magazine cover showcases Wolverine’s sweet costume from the upcoming, highly anticipated, X-Men Film, Days of Future Past.

Though I am still trying to get over the news from last week that another new X-Men film based off of the villain Apocalypse is in the works, let us take a gander at Wolverine’s sweet new digs.

From what I can see from the awesome debut trailer, most of the suits worn are very sleek and armor looking. Wolverine’s new one is no different, though of course Hugh Jackman looks like …

Bryan Singer To Direct ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ Which Won’t Feature The Old X-Men

Last week, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer tweeted out “#Xmen #Apocalypse #2016,” leading the internet to very reasonably assume the next X-film would focus on classic X-Men villain Apocalypse.

Vulture confirmed this bit of logic today, along with the news that Bryan Singer would return to direct the film. This will mark Singer’s fourth X-Men film, and it will also give fans hope that the third movie won’t be quite the hot mess that the previous third installment, 2006′s much-maligned X-Men: The Last Stand, was.

Vulture also reported that, though Apocalypse will open not long after …

Bryan Singer Hints At ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Film In 2016

For those of you who are nerdy enough to know the names of at least a handful of villains should easily know who Apocalypse is. For those of you who are unaware, allow me to introduce him. He is one of the top ranking villains in the Marvel universe, and first made his appearance in the X-Men comics from the ’80s. In one of the comic series it’s revealed that he is thought to be the very first mutant, which was around 5,000 years ago.

We all know that there is an X-Men film in our future, titled X-Men: Days

‘Days of Future Past’ Heading Back To Montreal For Reshoots

Director Bryan Singer and some cast and crew will be heading back to Montreal for a few weeks for some additional filming for the upcoming X-Men sequel, Days of Future Past.

20th Century Fox’s second biggest film (only behind Avatar) will take some more time to bring a finite close to the filming process. While a couple weeks is a fairly large amount of time for reshoots, this generally shouldn’t bring any cause for concern. With an estimated 250,000,000 dollar budget, films with such large pockets typically indulge in these types of reshoots.

What we do not know …
