In our four-plus years as a website few bands have been featured as often as Massachusetts’ Nemes. From their early days of New England influenced pop punk, to their modern blend of folk and alternative rock, these young men have consistently produced some of the most engaging music we’ve heard. Worcester, MA indie rock act Nemes have released a new song just in time for the new year.
Entitled “Blue Rose” and apparently recorded in a garage of some sort, the latest music from this ever-evolving act continues their growth from pop friendlies to folk masters with heartbreaking lyrics and beautiful instrumentation. You can discover the song for yourself, after the jump.
Vanna have announced plans to film a live DVD on November 12 at the Palladium in Worcester, MA. On top of that, they’re bringing a lot of friends along for the fun.
As seen in The Acacia Strains recent DVD, the Palladium should provide a pretty epic setting for the evenings events. Vanna will top of the night, but before them will be a near full-day of music from the likes of The Chariot, Mychildren Mybride, Oceano, Within The Ruins, Lionheart, and many, many more.
