WATCH: Tyler Carter covers Drake’s “Crew Love”

Ex-Woe, Is Me lead vocalist, Tyler Carter, recently posted a video of himself and a friend covering Drake‘s “Crew Love (ft. The Weeknd)”. The track comes off of Drake’s sophomore record, Take Care.
Take the jump to see Carter’s rendition, featuring his friend, Colby.

Tyler Carter is hard at work on his solo debut album. After leaving Woe, Is Me to peruse a solo career, Carter has released several R&B-inspired songs. The cover of Drake’s “Crew Love” fits seemlessly into what Carter is attempting to accomplish. Look for more new Tyler Carter music in the coming months.

Tyler Carter is a Bad Girl

Controversial frontman, Tyler Carter (ex-Woe, Is Me), recently performed a new song entitled, “Bad Girl,” during his set on 1 May at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. Check out the live video after the bump.

The dirty pop track finds Carter grooving along, filling the random electronic voids with his nasally, R&B vocals. Carter’s solo adventure is a far cry from his metalcore days singing clean vocals for Rise Records’ Woe, Is Me. Carter left the “family” (as so many others have…odd family) back in 2011 to peruse a solo, pop career.

UTG TV: Tyler Carter – Fame Over Demise (Live @SXSW 2012)(First Show Ever)

Days after we brought you an exclusive listen to his new single, UTG TV returns with a second video from Tyler Carter’s live solo debut.

“Fame Over Demise” is a song that any Woe, Is Me fan will recognize. The track was originally an anthemic jam played by the Rise Records act (and most likely still is), but later took a different form when former frontman Tyler Carter began performing the song solo (accompanied by piano or acoustic guitar).
