Not as many deathcore bands can match the longevity and work ethic of Within the Ruins. The Massachusetts-based quartet has been a band for nearly a decade. Although the group has about as many years under their belt as they’ve had member changes (no really, their Wikipedia page lists about nine previous members), they haven’t lost any steam leading up the release of their third studio album, Elite.

February 26th, 2013 Grant Trimboli Metal outfit Within The Ruins have unleashed their fierce music video for the song “Feeding Frenzy.” The video continues to show one old guy actually eating his own insides. He could not wait for dinner?

June 21st, 2012 Brian Lion Metalcore group Within The Ruins have updated their fan base with a second video from their studio sessions as they continue work on their next effort.
Within The Ruins recently completed tracking the album at Dreadcore Studios in White Lake, Michigan with producer/engineer Joshua Wickman who’s done work with such bands as And Hell Followed With and Knights Of The Abyss.
The band will be releasing their currently untitled third full-length later this year through their label, Victory Records. Check out the studio update after the jump to see what the band’s been working on!
December 12th, 2011 Grant Trimboli Whitechapel have officially announced their US tour called “The Recorruptour.” Rumors where correct, the trek will primarily feature support from Miss May I, After The Burial and The Plot You. Joining the tour on select legs are Structures and Within The Ruins.

November 22nd, 2011 Grant Trimboli I can certainly understand why this music video from I Declare War has stemmed much controversy. Their new video for the song “March On” shows us how a masked religious teacher takes abuse to the next level by hitting his/her students. The kids end up taking some serious revenge but you’ll just have to watch and find out for yourself what happens.
I definitely did not expect this piece of media to show up in my inbox today.

July 20th, 2011 James Shotwell Within The Ruins have debuted the video for their crushing new single, “Controller.” You can view the clip below:
There’s obviously a lot of Tarantino and Grindhouse influence here, so I approve. That said, this is maybe the third video in the last 8 months to feature the building and parking lot around Victory Records. Maybe considering a change of location would be a good thing for whichever band gets to shoot their vid next.
April 25th, 2011 Grant Trimboli Within The Ruins have premiered their latest music video for the song “Versus.” This comes off of the bands’ album Invade, that’s available now by clicking right here. The music video was directed by David Brodsky. What do you think of it?
