Earlier this month I made my way out to the 930 Club in Washington DC to see the very popular rock group The Gaslight Anthem with Laura Stevenson and the Cans. Normally I shy away from the 930 Club (although it’s not a terrible venue) because generally a lot of the acts that play there I do not enjoy. Desaparecidos Announces East Coast Tour, Joyce Manor to Support
November 28th, 2012 Tyler Osborne Folky band Desaparecidos announced a run of East Coast dates today, with support from punks Joyce Manor. Desaparecidos will be hitting up nine different cities around the East Coast, and it’s sure to be a really fun tour in some mid-range sized venues. For those who don’t know, Desaparecidos is another band Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes is a part of, so you can bet that it will be a really interesting live show to check out.

Hit The Lights’ Original Vocalist Colin Ross To Rejoin Band On Winter Tour Dates

UTG TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: Over & Out ‘Free Tenley’ Winter Tour
October 31st, 2012 James Shotwell Washington, DC’s hardcore group Over & Out has announced plans for a Winter tour and UTG is sponsoring! Over & Out is a hardcore group from the Tenleytown area of DC, and they do their best not to sound like anything coming out of their scene right now. The ‘Free Tenley’ tour is in support of their upcoming EP Plastic City, which will feature six tracks of crushing hardcore that will be coming out around mid-November.
Starting on December 17, Over & Out will be criss-crossing around the East Coast hitting cities such as Philadelphia, Richmond, Raleigh, and more. …

Hot Water Music, La Dispute, and The Menzingers Announce 2013 Tour
October 29th, 2012 Dan Bogosian Hot Water Music, La Dispute, and The Menzingers are some of the hardest working bands in the business today. The Menzingers in particular keep finding themselves on tour after tour; they did a tour by themselves then toured with Taking Back Sunday. I’m sure they’re looking forward to March when they’re slated to get a break. The three bands have announced they will tour the United States this winter starting in January.
It’s also Hot Water Music’s first headlining tour in eight years, so fans… may want to check out the tour dates. You never know when …

Pentimento Announce Winter Tour
December 9th, 2011 Grant Trimboli Pentimento have just revealed the official schedule for their entire winter 2011/2012 tour! Coming on as direct support for the whole tour will be Ohio rockers Light Years.
In addition to this tour, the group have recorded a split EP with Young English, that is set to be released in early 2012 via Panic Records. We are highly anticipating the release of this split and can’t wait for the guys to come through our town. Pentimento always put on an insane show.
