Local Natives Announce World Tour Dates

It seems like it was only yesterday that we heard about Local Natives’ debut 2009 album, Gorilla Manor. Now, four years later, the band is setting out on a world tour in support of their new album, Hummingbird.

The tour is scheduled to begin tomorrow at the Metro Theatre in Australia, and continue until November across multiple countries. In September, the band will be joined by indie-pop up-and-comers, Wild Nothing. The full list of tour dates can be seen below.

Beach House Announce Tour Dates with Wild Nothing

With the release of their much anticipated fourth studio album Bloom right around the corner (May 15 via Sub Pop), Beach House have announced a load of tour dates in support of what will undoubtedly be one of the best albums of the year.

Jack Tatum’s one-man dream pop project Wild Nothing will be supporting Beach House on several of the dates in the latter half of the tour. Two of the more exciting stops will consist of Beach House’s performance on “Late Show With David Letterman” on May 18 and Pitchfork’s Music Festival on July 15.

Rumored (leaked) lineup for Coachella 2012

The new year is rolling around and with it comes another year of great music. Next spring is the Coachella Valley Music and Fine Arts Festival, a huge (sweaty) gathering of celebrities, rich folk, and hipsters. To entertain these individuals, hundreds of musicians will flock to the Coachella Valley to play.

A Goldenvoice insider has revealed a rumored list of artists set to perform at the 2012 Coachella festival. Not every artist has been confirmed, but the list inside gives a pretty good depiction of what the next festival’s lineup will look like.
