Ligeia guitarist Ryan Ober has come out and issued a very lengthy statement regarding the band’s crazy month. The band canceled their upcoming tour, just four days ago, and were certainly nearing a breakup after vocalist Keith Holuk’s antics at their last show in Providence, RI.

Ligeia Cancel Everything, Rumors Of Breakup Swirl

The guys in Ligeia can never seem to catch a break. They just released an astounding new EP and already it seems the end may once again be near (or here).

Lambgoat is reporting that Ligeia has not only cancelled all current tour plans, but also postponed a scheduled video shoot following an incident involving an overly intoxicated Keith Holuk (vocals) in Providence, Rhode Island. According to one fan, Holuk “was so fucked up by the time [Ligeia] went on he could barely stand up never mind sing anything remotely close to a song.”

Ligeia Unveil Tour Dates

Directly after the band’s current touring run with Maker, Ligeia will be hitting the road for their own touring domination.

The band have been on a break for quite a while and no they’re ready to pound the pavement and shake some venues with their new EP, Welcome To Palm City. The EP is streaming right now over on AP and can be listened to by simply clicking here.

Ligeia Stream ‘Welcome To Palm City EP’

Massachusetts hardcore outfit Ligeia are officially streaming their entirely free EP, Welcome To Palm City, produced by Jay DeLuca. This self-funded effort is giving the band a chance to give back to their loyal fans after supporting them for all these years. The bands’ last release, off of Ferret Music, was 2008′s Bad News.

Ligeia Stream “Vodka Demon” Featuring Drew York

Ligeia are back and UTG couldn’t be more excited to say it! What better way to return with new music then releasing their song “Vodka Demon” featuring Stray From The Path’s vocalist Drew York. This song is going to be off the band’s upcoming EP, Welcome To Palm City.

“Vodka Demon” packs a huge punch and is definitely a step in the right direction for the Massachusetts natives.
