The International Championships Tour With Neck Deep, Knuckle Puck, And More!

Shortly after getting on the Warped Tour wagon for the first time ever, British pop-punk outfit Neck Deep are set to head out for their ‘International Championships Tour,’ which is a 10-day UK tour to be supported by fellow pop-punk breakthrough artists like Knuckle Puck, Seaway, and Trophy Eyes.

Only having debuted their first full-length album earlier this year, Neck Deep, under Hopeless Records, are rapidly making their way up the ladder of success. Having stated in previous interviews that they’ve gotten bigger in America than in the UK is truly a testament to the power of social media. Here’s …

Warped Hangout With Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Blackbird And Photographer Tom Falcone

Sometimes weird stuff happens when you’re on the road and it’s best to just let the camera roll. UTG TV likes to jump on those opportunities and this was the perfect instance to do so.

When the press area in Wantagh, NY for the Vans Warped Tour started slowing down, a unique combination of people were left “shooting the shit,” as they say. Derek Sanders of Mayday Parade, Kelen Capener of The Story So Far, Gia Farrell and Kandice Brending of Blackbird, and professional touring photographer Tom Falcone can be seen in this video hanging out and …

UTG PHOTOS: Warped Tour Detroit (7/19/14)

Under The Gun’s Head of Photography, Corbin Alvae, attended the Vans Warped Tour on July 19, 2014 in Auburn Hills, MI.

Well, it’s Summer and that only could mean one thing. Actually, it means a lot of things, but one of the most important aspects is one of our favorite tours traveling across the U.S. and Canada. To photograph the Vans Warped Tour this year, I stopped over at one of my favorite places to shoot at, called The Palace of Auburn Hills, where a couple of my recent photo sets were as well (e.g. Demi Lovato, Paramore, and Fall …

The Word Alive (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With The Word Alive

The Word Alive is one of those bands that’s bound to keep growing and growing. This summer alone, they’ve been bumped up onto the main stage at Warped Tour on numerous occasions, but it’s only a matter of time before they become Warped headliners for the long run.

If you’re a fan of the band, you don’t need an explanation as to why they are one of the most energetic and incredible bands to watch perform live, and if all my forum involvement is correct, Telle Smith has become one of the hottest frontmen to photograph, purely based on his …

UTG TV: Trolled By Kelen Of The Story So Far At Warped 2014

Vans Warped Tour is filled with loud music, sweaty people and many shenanigans. During our interview circuit, UTG TV caught up with Kelen Capener from The Story So Far to partake in some of those shenanigans.

I’ve conducted many interviews. Some are enlightening, boring, or emotional; this one, was just plain ridiculous. Whether it was Kelen stepping left and right to make sure the camera couldn’t catch him or claiming no participation in the grand security guard situation, Kelen trolled me pretty hard. That being said, all I could do was laugh.

Check out below the jump for what appears …

Hunter Valentine (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Hunter Valentine

Hunter Valentine has been a band for quite some time now, but it seems that 2014 may be the year the band becomes a household name. At first glance, yes, many would automatically characterize them into the lame category of “all-girl rock band,” but based off of meeting them once, I could immediately tell they were much more than that.

In 2012, the band was documented on tour in part of a Showtime series entitled The Real L Word and followed it up by hitting the road with the legend Cyndi Lauper. The Huffington Post refers to the band in …

Neck Deep 2 (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Neck Deep

Neck Deep is one of the fastest growing pop-punk bands we’ve seen in a while. Want evidence of that? In our interview with the band, Ben and Fil told us how they’d be super starstruck by one man and one man only: Mark Hoppus of blink-182. Four days later, they announced that they’d be opening for the band at London’s Brixton Academy next month. If you go on the band members’ social networks, you can see a photo of them hanging with Hoppus himself.

This has been a busy year for Neck Deep. The band released their first full-length through …

Bowling For Soup (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Bowling For Soup

“In 1995, I took a semester off from college to give this whole band thing a go. And I’m still on that semester off of college.”

The 2014 Vans Warped Tour features a lot of new talent, but there is nothing wrong with getting nostalgic and kicking it with the bands that have been around the block a few times.

Bowling For Soup has been a band for over twenty years. Despite their efforts to tone things down and relax a bit for family and personal purposes, the guys have never really been too good at staying off the road. …

Nick Santino (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Nick Santino

Earlier this year, UTG TV was able to sit down with Nick Santino and This Century on a frigid New York night. Fortunately, we were able to catch up and reconnect with Santino at Warped Tour in Wantagh, NY. Thankfully, this time it was a beautiful sunny day by the beach.

Back in May, Nick Santino released his first full-length solo record entitled Big Skies through 8123 Recordings, which was a nice change of pace from having to deal with major label executives. This summer, you can catch him every day on Warped at the Acoustic Basement tent, where he …

Shirts For A Cure Robbed At Virginia Beach Warped Tour

It makes me sick that I even have to write this, but Shirts For A Cure, a foundation which donates all proceeds directly to quality of life drugs for cancer patients, was robbed yesterday at the Virginia Beach stop of the Vans Warped Tour.

Mark Beemer founded Shirts For A Cure and The Syrentha J. Savio Endowment (SSE) in 2002. The man, for whom I can personally vouch for as one of the most genuine, hardworking, and caring men in the music scene, is asking for any help that is available.

Here is a statement by Shirts For A Cure …

UTG TV: ETID Meets CYE At Warped 2014

We here at Under The Gun Review like to consider ourselves family. For us, it’s important to keep in mind that the music community is in fact a community. At events like Warped Tour, you get to meet a lot of new people. UTG TV was able to bring together Close Your Eyes and Every Time I Die for the first time.

I’m sure you remember UTG TV’s segment entitled ‘Boozin’ With Buckley‘ we ran with Keith from Every Time I Die not too long ago. Well, unfortunately we couldn’t have a second installment of the boozing (considering …

Yellowcard (D. SKANK PHOTOGRAPHY)

UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Yellowcard

“I hope that somewhere, whoever is sitting in an office, looking at the internet and counting his money, that he decides that this is a good year for a new Yellowcard record.”

It’s hard to believe that Yellowcard released their classic record Ocean Avenue a decade ago. I’ll spare you the redundant “list-blog” type of writing that is meant to make you feel old or explain to you what you already know. Yes, we were introduced to the violin-wielding pop-rockers quite some time ago.

When the Vans Warped Tour hit Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY, we sat down with that …
