Atlas Genius Uses Vimeo Filmmakers To Create Music Videos

Atlas Genius may not be a household name just yet, but with consistent airplay of their catchy single, “Trojans” that soon may change. Mashable reports that the band and Warner Bros Records teamed together with Vimeo’s top filmmakers to produce four unique videos for the song.

The first video is directed by Tyler Nicholson, who is most notably known for his claymation work. Atlas Genius is expected to release the following three projects over the next few months.

Sacramento rockers Deftones released the lyric video for their new single “Tempest.”

This song is off of their forthcoming album, Koi No Yokan, that will be available through Warner Bros. Records on November 13. Pre-order your copy by heading to iTunes.

Deftones Add US Touring Dates

Deftones have added four more US touring dates onto their already busy schedule and Under The Gun Review has them right here. System Of A Down offshoot Scars On Broadway will be supporting these particular dates so please be sure to get out to a show. Pick up tickets past the link provided.

The shows will be in direct support for the band’s upcoming release, Koi No Yokan, that has an official drop date of November 13 through Warner Bros. Records.

Listen to Muse’s New Single “Madness”

The new single from Muse has leaked online and Under The Gun Review is absolutely beside ourselves with the first listens. What an amazing way to start off the morning.

This song is off of the group’s forthcoming album, The 2nd Law, being released on September 17 through Warner Bros Records. Check out the album artwork in the feature image box to your left. Pretty freaky!

RUMOR: New Killswitch Engage Song Leaks

An alleged new song from metal heavyweights Killswitch Engage has surfaced online and has begun circulating around the internet creating quite the buzz. While Under The Gun cannot confirm the track is official, Warner Bros Records did take down the song off of Youtube, a possible indicator that the track is legitimate.

Although the song was removed from Youtube, a personal Tumblr still has the track up with the possible song title, “No!”, and the possible album title Disarm The Decent included in the post.

MUSIC VIDEO: The Mars Volta – The Malkin Jewel

The Mars Volta have released the visuals for their single “The Malkin Jewel” and it is fifteen minutes of glorious live performance footage from the band. This video was edited by guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.

The group definitely throws the focus on the musical aspect of the video and not as much on the crowd’s involvement. Simple and bold. Linkin Park Unveil ‘Living Things’ Artwork

In an effort to keep their fans anxious for the release, Linkin Park have unveiled the official album artwork for Living Things.

The group are prepped to release Living Things on June 26 through Warner Bros. Records. Linkin Park have recently been named a co-headlining act for the Honda Civic Tour, alongside Incubus, and the dates can be found right here. Rockers MuteMath have unleashed their new music video for the song “Allies” and it is a roller coaster ride of adventure. If you have never been to a MuteMath concert the guys show you exactly what to expect, huge light shows, tons of confetti, and people crowd surfing on mattresses. This has all been crammed into the group’s new video.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Perform “Look Around” On Jools Holland

Red Hot Chili Peppers were filmed performing their song “Look Around” on Later… With Jools Holland on November 25. This song comes off of the group’s most recent effort, I’m With You, through Warner Brothers Records.

Loving the funky vibe of this jam and, of course, Anthony’s awesome mustache. Truly a flawless performance from RHCP, from start to finish.

Mutemath Perform “Blood Pressure” on Leno

New Orleans own Mutemath recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to perform their new single “Blood Pressure” on the program. The song comes from their album, Odd Soul, that was released under Warner Bros. Records on October 4.

Mutemath have stuck with a more upbeat feel-good rock and roll sound that we have seen in past years.
