The Acoustic Basement Tour Heads To The UK, Geoff Rickly To Headline

The Acoustic Basement Tour, Brian Marquis‘s annual pre-Warped Tour showcase of acoustic acts, is currently making its way across the United States, but the fun won’t end with the February 20 stop in Philadelphia. In April, Marquis will take the tour on its inaugural UK run, and former Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly is set to headline.

Joining Rickly and Marquis on the tour will be Pennsylvania singer-songwriter Koji and London native Rob Lynch. All told, it’s an extremely solid lineup that should make for a great night of acoustic sing-alongs.

Tickets for the eleven-date tour go on …

LIVE REVIEW: Vans Warped Tour in Melbourne, Australia

After an 11 year hiatus, the Vans Warped Tour returned to Melbourne, Australia on the weekend and our very own Brenton Harris was there to embrace it like an old friend. See his review below.

In 2002 as a 16-year-old kid, I attended the Vans Warped Tour at Mornington Racecourse and so began my great love affair with live punk rock. Today, 11 years and in excess of 1000 shows attended later, the Warped Tour finally made its return to Melbourne, and a rather excitable 27-year-old version of me was there to witness it. As I made my way through …

Defeater will be playing a record release show on September 27 at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA with Pianos Become The Teeth, Make Do …

Touche Amore Frontman Claims There Is “No Way” They Will Play Warped Tour

For a large portion of the bands covered on UTG, an invitation to take part on the Vans Warped Tour ranks high on the list of career goals. Many popular artists today spent their youth attending the traveling festival, but this morning we learn not everyone has the same warm fuzzies about the annual tour.

Speaking with The OC Weekly in a new interview, Touche Amore frontman Jeremy Bolm revealed that he has absolutely no plans or aspirations to one day take part in Vans Warped Tour. When asked about his interest in joining the festival, which usually includes 60-70 …

VersaEmerge Dropped From Fueled By Ramen Records

According to, the experimental rock duo VersaEmerge have been dropped by Fueled By Ramen Records, assumingly due to the continually delayed release of their second full-length, Another Atmosphere.

“We’re very sorry to say that we are canceling our appearance on this summer’s Van’s Warped Tour. This was
