STREAM: Vanna – “Please Stay”

Vanna‘s tenure on Every Time I Die‘s national headlining tour may be coming to a close, but by no means does that mean that things will be slowing down for the band. The Boston-based alternative hardcore act will be releasing The Few And Far Between through Artery Recordings next Tuesday on March 19.

The band has just put up a new song stream of “Please Stay” on their AbsolutePunk.net profile. Considering how hard-hitting and straight forward the group has always sounded, the song is a slight departure that still manages to take no prisoners.

Every Time I Die Announce Winter Tour

Midway through the band’s current mid-west/east coast tour, metalcore titans Every Time I Die took to their social networks today to announce that they’ll be touring from early February through mid-March with the likes of The Acacia Strain, Vanna, Hundredth, and No Bragging Rights opening. The tour will be running through a greater part of the country, with the tour starting in Chicago, IL and finishing in Allentown, PA.

Vanna Announce Winter Tour

Boston metal act Vanna have announced a headlining winter tour during this year’s holiday season. Kicking off on December 27, the short tour will also feature Lionheart, Lions Lions, State Champs, and Foreign Tongues.

Vanna have been quite busy lately, wrapping up a world tour at the end of the week, finally getting a month-long break before heading out on the road again. Head through the jump and see if there’s a tour date hitting your city.

Vanna Demoing New Material, Plan To Announce Studio Time In The Near Future

Boston post-hardcore act Vanna have been relatively quiet since leaving their highly praised stint on Van’s Warped Tour, and this afternoon we learned why. According to a tweet sent from the band’s official Twitter, Vanna have already demoed four new songs and are planning to reveal studio plans in the near future. This will mark the group’s first recording effort since parting ways with longtime cleans vocalist Evan Pharmekis earlier this year, as well as the first time back in the booth since recording And They Came Baring Bones in early 2011.

Evan Pharmakis and Chris Campbell Leave VANNA, Statements Released

UTG has just learned that Evan Pharmakis (guitarist/vocalist)and Chris Campbell (drummer) have left Boston post-hardcore act Vanna.

The new broke on two fronts this afternoon, first with an email containing statement from both Pharmakis and Campbell, then moments later with a video statement from the remaining members. You can view all three statements after the jump.

Vanna are set to begin a European tour tomorrow with the new guitarist/vocalist, Joel Pastuszak, tomorrow.
