Jack White Upsets Fans With Short Setlist In New York City

Last night at Radio City Music Hall, Jack White played an incredibly shortened show. The average performance on his Blunderbuss tour is 20 songs long, but last night, his set was only 12 songs. Many fans hung out after the show, chanting “Fuck Jack White!” and attempting to return merchandise they purchased.

Several places are reporting that Jack White was calm and in a normal mood before the show. Something must have set him off, with Jack saying “Jesus Christ, is this an NPR Convention?” and supposedly having a disagreement with a shirtless man in the …

Amanda Palmer Responds to Uproar, to Pay Musicians

Earlier this month, singer Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls requested “professional-ish horns and strings” to take part in her act “for a couple of tunes” with a payment of “beer and merch“. Her Kickstarter for her solo album raised $1.2 million, and so the internet responded negatively to her not paying her musicians money. A wide array of people ranging from Steve Choi of the RX Bandits to Steve Albini lashed out at Amanda, with a handful like Nataly Dawn of Pomplamoose speaking out in support of her.

Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix to Undergo Throat Surgery; Band Drops Off Uproar Festival

Papa Roach have been forced to pull out of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which launched last week in Kansas City, due to their frontman Jacoby Shaddix needing immediate surgery. He has been diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal chord and will undergo surgery to remove it.

Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival Announces Line-Up

Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival has officially announced the entire line-up for this year and it looks to be a straight-up 90′s flashback. Headlining this tour will be Shinedown, with other acts Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and Adelitas Way. Performing on the Ernie Ball Stage and Jägermeister Stages are P.O.D., Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution, In This Moment, Thousand Foot Krutch and Candlelight Red.

This giant tour will run around North America on a 30-date adventure through August and September.
