UTG TV: Idlehands Talk New Singles, Upcoming Full-Length

UTG TV sat down with Idlehands for a quick interview before their show at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco on August 7. The guys talked about their latest music video for the song “Mellow Christ,” featuring Justin Bonifacio of Ghost Parade, as well as their recent acquisition by Headphone Music, a division of Equal Vision Records. During our interview, Idlehands also spent some time discussing their upcoming full-length album, Dena Mora, which was recorded with legendary producer, Kris Crummett.

Slaves (Jonny Craig) Release Short Teaser Video

As you may know, Jonny Craig has been going solo since he parted ways with his previous bands, Emarosa and Dance Gavin Dance. Late last year he released a his latest solo album, titled Find What You Love and Let It Kill You. Well it seems as though he will be teaming up with some other musicians to finally work in a full band again. New Pearl Jam Album Almost Finished, Allegedly Sounds Like …Pearl Jam

In this politically safe day and age, band members often tone down their hyperbole to make sure they aren’t caught foot-in-mouth later. Stone Gossard, guitarist for grunge band Pearl Jam, was quoted this week with a statement that is probably the safest thing one could say about an upcoming album. Jimmy Eat World Recording Cover Songs

Jimmy Eat World uses their Twitter account prolifically, but doesn’t do a whole lot to give us much clarity (get it? Clarity? High fives all around) on what they are doing. They’ve previously said they would release their next album in the first half of 2013, and that they had a name chosen but wouldn’t tell us what it is.
