Massachusetts-based band Half Hearted Hero has been slowly making a name for themselves in the pop-punk genre over the past year or so. While I definitely recognized their name, I can honestly say I was not very familiar with their work. Lots of bands come out, and Half Hearted Hero is one of the bands that kind of fell through the cracks for me. You’re not losing your eyesight, that headlines reads the way you think it does. Apparently, Lil Wayne hopped on a Paris Hilton track back when she was running around the globe acting like more than a reality star from a super-rich family (whose fortune she played no part in earning), but for one reason or another the song never found its way to the masses. The Hush Sound Perform New Song Live

I (Tori) had a chance to attend The Hush Sound, JJAMZ, & Future Monarchs show at House Of Blues Chicago on October 26. To my surprise, The Hush Sound performed a new song. As of right now, there is no title for the song.

The Hush Sound have been on hiatus since 2009, but have announced quite a few shows in the US this fall. Do you think they will be coming off of hiatus? Does this new song mean they will be working on more new music together? There’s no proof of that, but here’s to hoping!

Gallows Announce Release Date For Album, Join Bridge 9 Records

Gallows have announced that they will be releasing their forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album on September 11! That was not even the best part of the group’s announcement.

They have joined Bridge 9 Records in the US. Congratulations to the entire band on signing. More information, streams, and touring dates are soon to follow in the coming weeks.

Featuring indie icon Beck, “Silk Pillow” offers listeners yet another chapter out of Gambino’s life and keeps hopes high for mixtape’s eventual release. Rocky Loves Emily are currently out on their Secret Santa headlining tour and recently treated fans to their first taste of new material.

While performing in Ohio, Rocky Love Emily debuted “Untitled,” a song from their forthcoming Tooth & Nail Records full length. You can view a video of the performance after the jump.

We have been told RLE are busting out this new track each and every date of this tour, so watch the following clip a dozen or so times to make sure you know the words!
