After nineteen years together, Bowling For Soup have announced they will embark on a final UK tour later this year. The band insists, however, that they have no intentions of breaking up any time soon.

Announced Tuesday morning, the ‘Bowling For Soup Bids Farewell’ UK tour will find the band spending two weeks overseas for the last time this October. Only one band will be opening, which the band says ensures the longest BFS set possible, but who that band will be will not be revealed until closer to the tour. In their continued effort to promote themselves through every outlet possible, Patent Pending have thrown a quick trailer together promoting their 8-Bit Frenzy Tour of the UK this April with Erik Chandler of Bowling For Soup.

According to the video, Patent Pending and Erik Chandler will both play full, electric sets on their eight-day excursion to the UK with Patent Pending acting as Chandler’s backing band.

The Bottom Line (UK) and Lacey will be acting as alternating tour support throughout these dates.

Johnny Craig Announces UK Tour, New Songs

Johnny Craig, formerly of Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa, has announced an upcoming 2013 tour across the UK. Including a stop at the popular Slam Dunk Festival, the short tour will only stretch over the course of a week.

Along with the tour announcement, Craig has also announced 3 upcoming singles set to be released later this month. The first track, “Nobody Ever Will”, will be available February 19, followed by “Rhythm In My Soul” on February 26 and “House Of War” available March 5.

Following their tease just days ago, Enter Shikari have announced plans to embark on “A Flash Flood Of Christmas” UK Tour.

DAMMIT: Baroness Involved In Serious Bus Crash

Word is breaking this morning that metal act Baroness have been involved in a serious bus crash in the midst of their UK tour.

According to a story on MetalhammerUK:

At around 11.30 am this morning at the junction of Brassknocker Hill and the A36 in Bath, the band’s tourbus crashed and fell 30ft over a viaduct.

A local news station in the area is reporting that seven people have been taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath, while two others, possibly suffering from more serious injuries, have been transported to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
