Vampire Weekend Perform Two New Songs

Indie artist Vampire Weekend were recently filmed performing two new songs called “Everlasting Arms” and “Obvious Bicycle.”

These songs were recording during the group’s homecoming New York set at the Roseland Ballroom last night. The stream was live and provided a high-definition viewing experience. Directed by Steve Buscemi.

Vampire Weekend’s forthcoming album, Modern Vampires Of The City, will see release May 14 on XL Records. The band is set to perform on Saturday Night Live on May 11.

Palisades Studio Update # 2

Palisades have released their second studio update on the progress of their upcoming debut full length album with Rise Records. They recently released their first update video, and if you haven’t watched that yet you can do so here. To watch the most recent studio update just take a look below the jump.

Mountain Man Premiere New EP

Boston hardcore outfit Mountain Man have premiered their brand new EP Two, streaming now over on AltPress. The EP will be officially released this Tuesday, August 14 on No Sleep Records.

STREAM: Mountain Man – That Won’t Always Last

Massachusetts hardcore group Mountain Man have released a brand new track called “That Won’t Always Last”. The new song is off of the group’s upcoming EP Two, set to be released on August 14 via No Sleep Records.

The new song is fast and aggressive, sure to propel pit dwellers everywhere into a frenzy. Following last year’s release of the band’s debut full length Grief, Mountain Man’s latest effort is sure to be a hit when it drops later this month.

Refused Announce Two UK Tour Dates

Refused have been rocking out on select stages all over and fans cannot get enough. To add to the re-ignited success of these punk rockers, they have announced two new United Kingdom touring dates.

Hands Like Houses Release Two ‘Snow Sessions’ Videos

Australian experimental rockers Hands Like Houses have unleashed their first two videos from the ‘Snow Sessions’ and the group takes their sound to a whole new level.

The band performed their songs “Act Normal” and “Lion Skin” and the unique arrangement shows how much depth and creativity HLH actually have. Keep an eye out for the next two videos to debut on April 30 because UTG will have those for you.

Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World) Performs Two New Songs

Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins was filmed performing two brand new songs for the crowd at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, AZ.

These songs were titled “You Were Gone” and “Book Of Love” and can be viewed by simply heading through the jump! Great job by Jim, overall.

Watch The Throne Add Two UK Tour Dates

After their huge success in the US and Canada, Watch The Throne are giving their fans a full-length tour in UK/Europe and adding more dates to the mix.

Ye and Jay have revealed two more UK dates in Birmingham and Sheffield. This tour is going to be insane so expect the duo to bring the heat on the entire run. The Euro portion will find them touring to Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Belgium, Germany, and Ireland.

Tool Announces Two Tour Dates In January

Remember how we mentioned earlier last week that Tool were possibly setting up touring plans? Thanks to Ticketmaster, we now have two official dates confirmed from the group that puts this question to rest!

Ticketmaster has put up a date on January 17 in Tucson, AZ as well as a January 18 in Albuquerque, NM. Two of the luckiest states right now, in my opinion.

Regardless if the shows aren’t anywhere close to the Midwest there is promise that Tool will bring their energetic and unforgettable live show around the US.
