Watch the Trailer for Marvel’s Latest TV Show, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

We all knew it was coming, but you can finally salivate over the debut trailer for Marvel’s latest television outing, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The show will follow the S.H.I.E.L.D. team taking on unusual cases that “haven’t been classified yet – the new strange and the unknown.”

The pilot, which is written and directed by Mr. Avenger himself, Joss Whedon, has no release date, but one can assume it is getting ready for a Fall release on ABC.

From the trailer, we see that the show sits directly in the huge universe Marvel has already created, and the opportunities this show …

WATCH: Tyler, The Creator Feat. Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis Perform “Rusty” on ‘Letterman’

Last night, members of Odd Future stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman to perform the song “Rusty” from Tyler, The Creator’s new album, Wolf.

There’s no doubt that Odd Future is a collection of entertaining personalities. During Domo Genesis’ verse, both Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator bust out an impromptu choreographed dance. Not to mention, Tyler, The Creator rapping a cappella at the end of his verse, only to drop the mic and walk off stage with the rest of Odd Future. Tyler made up for it though by coming back out, putting his arm around David

KiD CuDi Performs “Immortal” & Debuts “Mad Solar” On Jimmy Kimmel Live

With the release of Indicud fast approaching, KiD CuDi has been revving up his promotional efforts. Last night the “Mr. Rager” MC took his live show to the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform not one, but two new songs, and thanks to the power of the internet you can now view both performances right here on UTG.

Starting with his single “Immortal,” CuDi wasted no time getting the audience entranced with his latest musical efforts. The song’s thunderous drum section kept the crowd involved even if they didn’t seem overly invested in the track’s lyrical content. It’s not …

Kendrick Lamar 2012

WATCH: Kendrick Lamar Perform “Poetic Justice” on Letterman

After seeing several television appearances by Kendrick Lamar, I’ve grown to appreciate how experienced and comfortable the rapper looks on stage.

Tonight, Kendrick and his crew played a soulful rendition of “Poetic Justice” sans Drake. The instrumentation was beyond superb and the rhymes flowed smoother than a sip of Pepto-Bismol.

Unlike most of the show host’s jokes, Lamar not only got me to watch Letterman this evening, but actually feel ok about doing so. To spare you the trouble, we’ve cropped out all but the performance.

Please enjoy.

Coheed and Cambria play “Dark Side Of Me” on Conan

Coheed and Cambria continued their hot streak of cool stuff tonight by performing as special guests on Conan.

Playing “Dark Side Of Me” from part two of their upcoming record The Afterman: Descension, the prog-rockers did their thing for the eccentric host’s audience, both in-house and at home.

You can grab your copy of Descension February 5, 2013. Part one of The Afterman is already available. You can snag Descension here.

TV TEASER: Hemlock Grove

Well here’s something exciting: Netflix released a teaser for their new original series Hemlock Grove. From director Eli Roth, the story follows and deals with the murder of a high school girl in Hemlock Grove. Hemlock Grove is based off of Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name, which came out in March of 2012.

This is a Netflix original series, so instead of just getting one episode a week for thirteen weeks, Netflix is giving you all thirteen, one hour episodes on the premiere date, April 19. Now I don’t know about you, but that’s really freaking awesome. …

Battle Royale May Become A TV Series

Any self-respecting film fan ought to be pretty darned familiar with Japanese cult classic Battle Royale, released way back when in 2001 (although it wasn’t officially released in the U.S. until 2011). Based on the novel by Koushun Takami, it tells the tale of a futuristic, totalitarian Japanese society which forces a group of schoolchildren to fight each other to the death on a remote island. Long mooted for a U.S. remake, it seems the film may now get its English-language makeover by way of TV.

WATCH: Patrick Stump on House

Patrick Stump is a man of many talents, that is for certain. We know that the man can sing, play guitar, piano, harmonica, and likely any other instrument tossed his way, but did you know that he enjoys acting as well?

A while back, word leaked that the Fall Out Boy frontman would be playing a small roll on an episode of House M.D. on the FOX network. That episode premiered last monday, and because nothing can stay offline due to crafty and technologically savvy media pirates, we have some video featuring his part here on UTG.

Our German readers were able to witness a pretty badass performance earlier this and week and now, thanks again to the power of Youtube, we can be lazy on a Saturday and enjoy it too.

The ECHO awards were given out earlier this week and, like any award show, there were performances. When Rammstein hit the stage they brought along Marilyn Manson and busted out a great rendition of “The Beautiful People.” You can view the performance after the jump.

We all know Manson most likely made the appearance to help get the wheels of promotion spinning on his recently …

Nas And The Roots Perform “Nasty” On Fallon

Nas teamed up with The Roots last night for a performance of “Nasty” and UTG has the footage.

Never one to disappoint on record or stage, Nas appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night during the show’s taping at Madden Bowl Bud Light Hotel in Indianapolis. While there, the “Hate Me Now” rapper joined forces with house band The Roots to perform his incendiary single “Nasty” to a packed house. You can view the performance after the jump.

After you watch Nas’ performance, comment and let UTG know what you think of the legendary emcee’s latest appearance.

WATCH: Yelawolf & Travis Barker Perform On Conan

One of the year’s hottest MCs paired with one of music’s most iconic drummers last night for a performance you have to see to believe.

Tackling “Let’s Roll” before Conan‘s audience (and the world), Yelawolf and Travis Barker showed TBS the true power of music. Already a hard hitting song, the duo manage to keep the energy high even on a soundstage. You can view the performance after the jump.

We are still rocking Yelawolf’s Shady Records debut around the office and see no end in sight. If you have yet to hear Radioactive, click here and discover …
