KOJI Announces Summer Tour with Turnover, Have Mercy, and Ivy League

Well this is a Summer tour worth going to: KOJI announced today he will be hitting the road with his labelmate Turnover, Topshelf Records’ Have Mercy, and 6131 Records’ Ivy League. This tour hits most major markets in the United States, so you really don’t have an excuse not to hit one of the best lineups you’ll see all Summer.

All these artists have new albums either out or coming out, so make sure you head out to these shows to hear some new material.

Music Video: Turnover – “Most Of The Time”

Virginia pop punk act Turnover have released a brand new music video for their song “Most Of The Time”, the second new song to be released off of the band’s upcoming record Magnolia. The band’s debut full length is set to be released on April 16 on Run For Cover Records.

Turnover Premier New Song “Bloom”

Virginia Beach rockers Turnover have partnered up with AltPress to premier the stream of their new song “Bloom.”

This song will come off of the band’s forthcoming album, Magnolia, which has a release date of April 16 through Run For Cover Records.  Be sure to catch the band on tour with Diamond Youth and PJ Bond starting today, and we can guess they will be playing this new material at their shows. WATCH: Major League Cover “Everlong”

New Jersey pop punk act Major League recently stopped by the Glamour Kills offices and performed an acoustic rendition of the popular song “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters.

Citizen To Record Full Length With Will Yip

Toledo area punk outfit Citizen have confirmed that they will be recording  their Run For Cover Records debut full length with producer Will Yip. Yip has worked with an impressive catalog of artists including, Title Fight, Circa Survive, The Wonder Years, and many others.

Citizen will be entering the studio to record their full length sometime this winter, following their impressive split release with Turnover this past spring. LIVE VIDEO: Turnover – Solitude (Acoustic)

Virginia Beach punk group Turnover have posted a live video of an acoustic rendition of their song “Solitude”. The video is shot as the fourth installment of an ongoing acoustic sessions series by Jeremy Ledford.

There’s an excessive amount of bands within the pop-punk scene, all of which are trying to copy one band or another (being from the Philadelphia scene 95% of the bands are trying to sound like The Wonder Years or Man Overboard, and it’s getting old). Turnover, Citizen Join Run For Cover Records

Boston based label Run For Cover Records announced today they have signed both Turnover and Citizen. The label will releasing the bands split 7″ this spring, with two brand new songs from each band. Citizen and Turnover will be hitting the road together this summer in support of their release.

Mightier Than Sword Signs Citizen

It was announced today that Mightier Than Sword Records have signed rock group Citizen. The band will be going into the studio in mid-January to record two new songs for their split with Turnover. The split will be released sometime in spring 2012.
