Trapped Under Ice Announces Hiatus

Well hardcore heads, the time has come. Baltimore hardcore group Trapped Under Ice just announced that they will be going on hiatus after This is Hardcore in August. Announcing the hiatus via a lengthy note on their Facebook page, TUI will be playing a slew of shows from now until This is Hardcore, and then after Philadelphia’s premier festival the band will be taking a break for several years. The band projects that they will be coming back to the hardcore scene in 2015.

UTG TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: Over & Out ‘Free Tenley’ Winter Tour

Washington, DC’s hardcore group Over & Out has announced plans for a Winter tour and UTG is sponsoring! Over & Out is a hardcore group from the Tenleytown area of DC, and they do their best not to sound like anything coming out of their scene right now. The ‘Free Tenley’ tour is in support of their upcoming EP Plastic City, which will feature six tracks of crushing hardcore that will be coming out around mid-November.

Starting on December 17, Over & Out will be criss-crossing around the East Coast hitting cities such as Philadelphia, Richmond, Raleigh, and more.  …

Baltimore hardcore outfit Trapped Under Ice have announced a fall US tour  that stretches out  just under two weeks. Support for the tour is quite impressive, including other hard acts Backtrack, Naysayer, Fire & Ice, Born Low and Out Crowd.

Basement Announce Australian Tour

The UK punk group Basement have announced they will be hitting the road this summer for an Australian tour. Supporting the band on the tour will be Australia’s own Endless Heights.

Basement have also recently confirmed they will be appearing at this years Sound and Fury Fest and are currently on tour with Your Demise, Trapped Under Ice and Man Overboard in the UK. Basement Perform New Song Live

The UK punk outfit Basement recently performed a new song entitled “Whole” while performing in Southampton. The band previously only released the song on the English radio station BBC during an exclusive live session.

Baltimore, Maryland’s own Trapped Under Ice have released their brand new music video for “Pleased To Meet You” and this one throws down. TUI are shot live performing their song and show the hardcore world why they shouldn’t be messed with.

“Pleased To Meet You” comes off of the band’s recent effort, Big Kiss Goodnight, via Good Fight Music. Pick this up when you get the chance because it hits hard. The video was directed by Nathan Congleton.

Trapped Under Ice Stream “You And I”

Maryland’s Trapped Under Ice have released the second stream off of Big Kiss Goodnight called “You And I” that can be listened to right here. The album was produced by Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory) and presents itself with so much angst and hate, it’s unreal.

Trapped Under Ice signs with Good Fight Music

Hardcore act Trapped Under Ice have signed a recording deal with Good Fight Music. They are going to be releasing their full-length album, Big Kiss Goodnight, on October 11 with help from producer Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory). Reaper Records is also partnering with GFM to produce a special edition vinyl. Keep an eye out for this to be a great album.
