Kanye West Is Planning a ‘Yeezus’ Tour

The Yeezus talk just keeps on coming. Mike Dean, contributing producer for the latest Kanye West album, has confirmed that West will tour his new record during his Reddit AMA session.

No major details have surfaced regarding possible dates or locations, but Dean’s statement has gotten fans’ hearts flaring. The critically acclaimed 2010 release My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy never saw its own tour, with West only playing a few hits off of it live. Native Release New Song, To Tour With Daylight And O’Brother

Sargent House rock and rollers Native haven’t had a full length new release since 2009′s Wrestling Moves. That’s about to change on August 20 when they release their sophomore work, Orthodox (which is a strange title for such an unorthodox band). The band named after most of my conquests, Pity Sex, have an EP already on their belt, but their debut album is yet to come out. This full length, Feast of Love, will be released on Run For Cover Records on June 25. Run For Cover has posted the album on Soundcloud and is now streaming.

Drake Announces North American Tour

Drake announced plans for his “Would You Like a Tour?,” which travels throughout North America. The YMCMB favorite will be touring with direct support from Miguel and Future.

This tour starts in Portland and includes stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Boston, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and everywhere in between. Check out the full itinerary for Drake’s gigantic tour and let UTG know if you plan on heading out to a date or two.

Details for his forthcoming album, Nothing Was The Same, still have not surfaced but count on a late summer release.

Thirty Seconds To Mars And You Me At Six Touring The UK Together

For a lot of people, when they see Jared Leto, they think rock and roll frontman. When I see him, I think Angel Face in Fight Club or Harry in Requiem For A Dream. (Needless to say, I had a scarred childhood.) Regardless, Leto and his band, Thirty Seconds To Mars, are going on tour with You Me At Six for a short while in the UK. The dates are all in November.

2 Chainz Announces Title of New Album

A few days after announcing its release date, 2 Chainz has finally revealed that his new album will be titled B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time. His sophomore release is scheduled to hit shelves on September 10.

If you want to know what you can expect from the album, take a listen to the Pharrell-featured single “Feds Watching” here. 2 Chainz has his standard hip-hop sound, but keeps a slight Caribbean influence underneath it. The video, which was also shot a few days ago, looks like it will have an equally Caribbean location, judging by photos taken from the set.
