The Oh Hellos Share “Bitter Water,” Fantastic Folk That Goes Down Easy

Maggie and Tyler Heath–maybe better known as the sibling duo The Oh Hellos–have announced that they’ll be following up their near-perfect 2012 release, Through The Deep, Dark Valley, with a brand new full-length this fall, titled Dear Wormwood. Yesterday, NPR had the honor of premiering the album’s new lead single and, if I’m being completely honest, it took me till today to stop listening to it long enough to write this piece.

The Oh Hellos’ sense of melody is refreshingly organic and truly untouchable, due heavily in part to both members’ staggering vocal abilities. Their huge walls …

You Blew It! Announce Tour With Sorority Noise, Microwave

Emo darlings You Blew It! have announced a short run of tour dates with stellar support from Sorority Noise and Microwave. You can find the tour flyer with dates below.

It’s worth pointing out that Sorority Noise are gearing up to release one of my favorite albums of the year thus far with Joy, Departed, and Microwave put out one of the most underrated records of the past few months with the brooding, catchy, and excellently written Stovall (which made it onto UTG’s list of records we missed last year).
