RUMOR OF THE DAY: Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, and Ghost Planning Fall Tour

The rumor mill is alive and well this morning with false promises of tours, collaborations, release dates, and breakups that 97% of the time turn out to be complete nonsense. There is one story that caught our collective eye this morning though, and after speaking to a few friends with connections we figured it was worth sharing with all of you.

According to forum posts, tweets from people tangentially connected with music, and the loose lips of booking agents in the plains states, Avenged Sevenfold are supposedly planning a Fall tour with support from Deftones and Ghost. No dates for …

Jonny Craig Has Begun To Record His Fan-Funded EP

According to Twitter, Jonny Craig has begun recording his new fan-funded EP.

“Go to Atlanta record new EP. Come home film thank you videos for donators! Send out more perks! Go on tour! Pretty stoked on life,” Craig graciously tweeted.

Having previously released a few tracks here or there, the EP, funded on IndieGoGo, just barely made it past Craig’s $20,000 goal. Not bad for a guy who’s already stolen his fan’s money, right?

In late May, the singer will head over to the UK in support of his new EP, come home for a while and then …

You, Me, And Everyone We Know consists primarily of songwriter Ben Liebsch. Perhaps Ben will appear during Squid’s set, too; they did a song together that you can see a live performance of here. The tour takes place in May and June, crossing most of the …
