Sigur Rós Announce North American Amphitheater Tour

With their a new album, Kveikur, scheduled to drop on June 18, Sigur Rós are making headlines in another way today. The band announced a list of North American tour dates scheduled for this fall. Whenever the Icelandic musicians can make it over to the states, it’s sure to be an exciting and special event.

The band’s seventh studio album, Kveikur, is slated to be the first album released by XL Recordings after the bands departure with EMI and Parlophone. According to Consequence of Sound, the album is described as more “aggressive” than their previous work.

Coheed and Cambria have added two one-off shows with Circa Survive away from their time spent on tour with the Uproar Festival later this summer.

The first date will take place at The Pageant in Saint Louis, Missouri on August 26 while the second date will take place at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 3. Special presale tickets for these shows are available on Coheed and Cambria’s website.

Code Orange Kids Added Onto Madball/Expire Tour

The five members of Pittsburgh’s Code Orange Kids left their fans with a late night treat by announcing that they will be on the road for a week this July opening for Madball’s headlining tour with Bridge Nine Records’ Expire offering direct support.
