The Ugly Organ

Cursive Announce ‘The Ugly Organ’ Reissue And Details For Upcoming Tour

Get ready to feel old. The Omaha, Nebraska-based indie rock outfit known as Cursive have been together since 1995. They released their debut full-length album, The Disruption, in 1996. With so many albums under their belt (thirteen, to be exact), you’d think it would be difficult to pick just one fan favorite but I think it’s safe to say that most people can agree The Ugly Organ is their best work. It was released back in 2003, but people still love it.

It’s because of this reason I am excited to report that the band has confirmed they will …

Trophy Eyes Stream “White Curtains”

Australian pop-punk/melodic hardcore wunderkinds Trophy Eyes have unveiled yet another track from their upcoming Hopeless Records debut full-length, Mend, Move On.

The track “White Curtains” is an absolute banger that packs a rather weighty emotional punch over its 3:03 running time as the band’s unique brand of pop-punk infused melodic-hardcore provides the perfect backdrop for vocalist John Floreani‘s desperate delivery as he recounts a deeply personal manner with unashamed honesty. The result is a track that has you feeling every syllable of his impassioned refrains as he screams “Torn between, being a child my whole life, or the man …

Required Listening: Twin Forks – “Mean” (Taylor Swift Cover)

Chris Carrabba can do no wrong. There may have been a time when you could have convinced me otherwise, but after hearing his latest audio offering I am convinced that the man who also gave us Dashboard Confessional is incapable of falling flat on his face.

Yesterday, September 26, Carrabba and his bandmates in Twin Forks partnered with the team at NoiseTrade to release a free digital EP to help promote the group’s upcoming fall tour dates.
