Cat Stevens Announces First US Tour Since 1976

Today is a very, very special day. We have some great content on the way, but this story alone should fill you with excitement. Cat Stevens has announced plans for his first tour in more than twenty years. The singer – also known as Yusuf Islam – announced yesterday that he will travel to Europe and North America in November …

Stevie Wonder Announces ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ US Tour

We talk a lot about anniversary tours that are not to be missed, but this story is in a league all its own.

Stevie Wonder has announced plans to embark on a full US tour this fall that will find the pop icon performing his album Songs In The Key Of Life in full every single night. Wonder played the classic album in Los Angeles last December and has apparently decided it’s something every fan deserves a chance to experience. We wholeheartedly agree.

Originally released in 1976, Songs In The Key Of Life is an ambitious and gorgeous double album …

Tyler, The Creator

Tyler, The Creator Announces US Tour Dates

Odd Future founder Tyler, The Creator has been relatively quiet on the music front since the release of his 2013 solo album. The one-time Goblin told press shortly after the record’s release that he was tired of rap and that he wanted to be known for doing other things as well because he knew he was capable of more. We respected that stance, but part of us always hoped Tyler would come around and want to rap again.

Today, those of us hoping for a return got a taste of what it must feel like when dreams come true after …

Placebo

Placebo Touring for First Time in Seven Years

UK rock group Placebo haven’t been in the news much in the past few years. They teased new music in 2012. They dropped a new album in 2013. They sued The Weeknd for his blatant “Machine Gun” sample in 2013. Now, in 2014, they’re ready to hit the road touring — for the first time in seven years.

The band will cross the pond in October to play 11 stops in North America. They’ll be stopping by Brooklyn’s Escape Music Festival as well as Boston, Montreal, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and more. Their latest album, 2013′s Loud Like Love, …

Run The Jewels Share ‘RTJ2′ Tracklist, Awesome Album Art, and New Tour Dates

Run The Jewels‘ sophomore release, RTJ2, has easily been one of my most highly anticipated albums of the year since its announcement. At this point, it’s my most anticipated for the remainder of the year, especially after hearing “Blockbuster Night Part 1” and seeing them earlier this summer at Outside Lands in San Francisco.

Today, the dynamic duo of Killer Mike and El-P have revealed several more details regarding the album, including it’s awesome Halloween-ish cover art (a continuation of their gun/fist logo and art from their debut) and the album’s tracklist, with impressive guests …
