Faith No More, Soundgarden and Slipknot to Headline Soundwave 2015

Australia’s heavy music festival monolith, Soundwave, has made a mammoth lineup announcement for 2015 with Faith No More, Soundgarden, Slipknot, Incubus, Marilyn Manson and several other renowned acts leading arguably the festival’s strongest billing yet.

Expanding to a two-day format for the first time in 2015, Soundwave will take place in four cities across two weekends, with every act playing in each city on an alternating schedule that organizers have simply labelled ‘Day One’ and ‘Day Two.’

Transit Announce ‘Joyride,’ Reveal October Tour With Such Gold And Driver Friendly

Boston rock outfit Transit have announced plans to release their newest full-length, Joyride, on October 21 through Rise Records. No single was released alongside the announcement, but the band did reveal plans for a short headlining tour, as well as a new song snippet.

Starting with the tour, Transit will be headlining a two-week run with support from New York punk rockers Such Gold and Texas heartthrobs Driver Friendly. Beartooth Announce Headlining Tour, Premiere New Music Video

Beartooth have released a music video for one of their singles and announced their first headlining tour in one fell swoop.

In cooperation with Alternative Press, the band announced that they will be embarking on their very first headlining tour starting this October. They will be supported by Sylar, Sirens & Sailors and Alive Like Me. You can find the list of dates below the jump.

Say Anything are having a pretty rad day. Not only did their new video for “Six Six Six” premiere over on Spin, but Max Bemix announced on Twitter today that Chris Conley will be joining the ranks of Say Anything for the Australian leg of their upcoming tour. The singer, guitarist, and Saves The Day frontman recently wrapped up a massive UK and Europe tour for his band’s 2013 self-titled album. The Black Dahlia Murder announced plans for a short September tour with Lorna Shore just last week, and today they have returned to our front page with plans for an even bigger outing with some of our favorite heavy bands.

Kicking off at the beginning of October, The Black Dahlia Murder will co-headline a nationwide tour alongside Suicide Silence, with support from Chelsea Grin and ALTERBEAST. Heavy metal outfit Tombs has released their official music video for “Seance.” The track, which originally appeared on the album Savage Gold, is now accompanied by visuals that impress upon the viewer a feeling of transcendence. The Black Dahlia Murder Announce September Shows With Lorna Shore

Michigan metal gods The Black Dahlia Murder have unveiled plans to embark on a short tour in Septemeber with support from Lorna Shore.

Dubbed the Into The Everblack – Midwest 2014 tour, the latest outing from The Black Dahlia Murder finds the iconic group touching down in five US cities between September 16 and September 20, 2014. The cities involved include Grand Rapids, Iowa City, St. Louis, Champaign, and Indianapolis. You can view the full itinerary at the end of this post.
