Faith No More, Soundgarden and Slipknot to Headline Soundwave 2015

Australia’s heavy music festival monolith, Soundwave, has made a mammoth lineup announcement for 2015 with Faith No More, Soundgarden, Slipknot, Incubus, Marilyn Manson and several other renowned acts leading arguably the festival’s strongest billing yet.

Expanding to a two-day format for the first time in 2015, Soundwave will take place in four cities across two weekends, with every act playing in each city on an alternating schedule that organizers have simply labelled ‘Day One’ and ‘Day Two.’

Mayday Parade Announce ‘The Honeymoon Tour’

Pop rockers Mayday Parade have just finished their run for this year’s Warped Tour but that is not stopping the band from making fresh announcements.

The band announced today that they would be embarking on a month-long fall headlining tour named ‘The Honeymoon Tour’ with the trek covering most of the United States and part of Canada. Giving support to the tour will be Tonight Alive, Major League, and PVRIS.

This Wild Life Announce Short UK Tour

This Wild Life recently announced that they would no longer be able to head out to the UK with Tonight Alive this November. Since they couldn’t make it out during that period of time, they decided to make it up to their fans by booking their own headlining dates running September through October. The tour poster with a list of dates can be viewed below the jump.

LIVE REVIEW: Taking Back Sunday – Acoustic At Revolution (4/14/14)

On Monday, April 14, Taking Back Sunday performed an exclusive performance at Revolution in Amityville, NY. To gain entrance to the event, fans pre-ordered the limited vinyl pressing of their brand new album Happiness Is. The event was limited to 500 die-hard fans who were able to meet their hometown favorites and hear the special acoustic set.

Looney Tunes CDs, the same Long Island record store to bring in other UTG favorites Bayside and I Am The Avalanche graciously orchestrated and hosted the event alongside Club Loaded.

LIVE MUSIC VIDEO: Tonight Alive – “The Ocean”

“The Ocean” is the leading track off of Tonight Alive‘s sophomore album, The Other Side. They released the album in September of last year, and since then the group has been on a plethora of tours. That has given them plenty of opportunity to have some great live footage shots, and that’s exactly what they used for their latest music video. All Time Low are currently overseas in the middle of a short UK leg of the A Love Like Tour, and to kick things off the right way, the band performed their most recent single and tour namesake “A Love Like War” with Tonight Alive frontwoman Jenna McDougall.

Taking Back Sunday And The Used Announce Co-Headlining Tour, Reveal Dates

We told you near the end of 2013 that Taking Back Sunday were planning to hit the road with The Used in the new year, and this morning the official announcement went live.

Taking Back Sunday and The Used will be co-headlining a nationwide tour later this year. The tour will kick off on March 14 in Dallas, TX and wrap on April 27 in Orlando, FL, with specials guests Tonight Alive and Sleepwave along for the ride. You can view the full list of dates below.

Tonight Alive Premiere Acoustic Video For “The Fire”

Female-fronted Australian rock act Tonight Alive have been making tremendous waves with the release of their sophomore record, The Other Side. WATCH: Conditions – “Open Eyes (Acoustic)”; Updated Tour Dates

In January, we named Conditions one of our 5 bands to watch in 2013. We then proceeded to watch them release an album, tour with another one of our 5 to watch, then hit financial trouble and drop off of another tour with The Almost. Bummer.

Still, they’re keeping at it. A tour is on the horizon with You Me at Six, Cute Is What We Aim For, Tonight Alive, and Dinosaur Pile-Up. They also put up an acoustic version of their single “Open Eyes.”
