Tigers Jaw 2015

Listen To Tigers Jaw’s Full Live Acoustic Album From Studio 4

Tigers Jaw, via Stereogum, are streaming their new live album recorded at Studio 4. For those who don’t know, Studio 4 is the main operating haven for Will Yip, the current scene’s title holder for favorite producer/dude.

The album was recorded with banter included, giving the entire piece an intimate touch, especially when the band plays Title Fight covers, dedicating them to a close friend of the band who passed away.

The album will be released on June 30 via Memory Music, and can still be pre-ordered here.

The Story So Far Announce New Album, Unveil Lead Single

California pop-punk frontrunners The Story So Far have just announced that they will be putting out their third full-length record this summer. The self-titled follow-up to 2013’s What You Don’t See will be available physically and digitally on May 15 via Pure Noise. Below you will be able to listen to their hard-hitting new single called “Nerve.”

The new song reportedly surfaced earlier this weekend when the band gave out a demo CD at a Title Fight show in San Francisco under a different band’s name. It has since then been confirmed that the new single will be included in …

Self Defense Family 2014

Stream Self Defense Family’s Split EP With Touche Amore

Earlier this year, Self Defense Family announced that they will be putting out a collaborative split 7″ EP with Touche Amore. The split, entitled Self Love, will be released on Tuesday, March 10, via Deathwish Inc.

The EP was created by all fifteen members of both bands collectively with the help of producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive, Tigers Jaw) in Conshohocken, PA. The EP, which is an unsurprisingly well-meshed combination of both bands’ hardcore trademark attributes, will also be available on Record Store Day via Run For Cover.

You can pre-order Self

Stream Adventures’ Debut Full-Length Record, ‘Supersonic Home’

Fans of Pittsburgh five-piece Adventures (which is also comprised of several members of Code Orange) have been eagerly awaiting the release of the band’s debut full-length record. That day is finally almost upon as as we inch closer and closer to its release date of February 24. The new record, which is entitled Supersonic Home, is a fresh presentation of their watered down but equally as hard hitting sound.

Those who listen to bands like Pity Sex and Title Fight will definitely enjoy this new record as it embodies a lot of the sonic elements of those who …

REVIEW: Title Fight – ‘Hyperview’

Artist: Title Fight
Album: Hyperview
Label: ANTI-

Hyperview will cause a divide, as it should. You can attempt to deduce where the sonic change came from all you want, whether it be “Head In The Ceiling Fan,” “Lefty,” “In-between,” or anything Title Fight has done recently, but what really matters is what Hyperview isn’t, and what is isn’t is your typical Title Fight record. In sound, apotheosis, theme, intent, or emotion, Hyperview is a new breed for the quartet.

Hyperview bleeds lush creativity. It bleeds from a band that has been increasingly cultivating their sound for years, and decide that …

Title Fight Stream ‘Hyperview’ In Its Entirety

We are a week away from the long-awaited release of Title Fight‘s new album Hyperview, but the interwebs have graced us with an early stream of the entire album before its release.

The Pennsylvania punk quartet teamed up with NPR to stream the band’s third studio album from front to back for your listening pleasure. From the first listen, there’s a noticeable shift in the band’s sound, with a seemingly newfound love for chorus and shoegaze effects.

Hyperview is set for release on February 3 via ANTI- Records and pre-orders are still available for purchase at Kings Road

La Dispute To Play A Few Intimate Shows This Spring

La Dispute announced earlier in December that they will be embarking on a short co-headlining U.S. tour with Title Fight this spring, with the support of The Hotelier. During this brief run, the band will also be playing a few seated, intimate shows in four cities, starting on March 28 in Philadelphia.

These smaller shows will involve playing songs that the band has never played live, readings of excerpts from the members’ favorite books and poems, and a Q&A session with the audience. Tickets for these dates, which are sold separately from the co-headliner with Title Fight, will go …

Title Fight Share Dreamy New Track, “Your Pain Is Mine Now”

It looks like Title Fight are pushing their boundaries in terms of their musical direction for their new album, Hyperview, which is set for release on February 3 via ANTI- Records. I say this because their newest track they’ve released, “Your Pain is Mine Now,” is a step away from the angsty yells and explosive guitars you are used to hearing from the Pennsylvania quartet, into a more trance-induced journey.

Premiering over at Vogue, “Your Pain Is Mine Now” is a surprising departure from what we’ve heard of Hyperview thus far in “Rose Of Sharon” and …

Title Fight Debut Music Video For “Rose Of Sharon”

Title Fight are geared up to release their highly anticipated new album, Hyperview, the follow-up to 2013’s magnificent Floral Green. After sharing the track listing and album artwork as well as premiering a new song called “Chlorine,” the band have released another track off the release and it’s getting us pretty excited for Hyperview.

The song is called “Rose of Sharon” and the band debuted a music video for it over at Pitchfork. The video shows a young kid watching old Western movies before the band comes in to perform, with trippy images projected …

LIVE REVIEW: Circa Survive at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA (12/13/14)

There’s always something special about welcoming a band home after a long tour. One would think that this band (and the rest on the bill) would be worn out, deflated, and simply spent after a month and a half of straight touring. Circa Survive are not that band. Well, not that tired and exhausted band. They are, in fact, the band that Philadelphia welcomed home with open arms and strong voices at Union Transfer this past weekend.

Opening the latter half of the tour was Baltimore’s Pianos Become the Teeth, fresh off the release of their third, near-perfect record, …

This just jumped to top of the most anticipated tours of 2015.

La Dispute and Title Fight will be going on a short but sweet spring co-headlining tour in March/April of next year. The tour will start on March 21 at Fitzgerald’s in Houston, TX and end on April 5 at The Metro in Chicago with direct support from The Hotelier.

This tour announcement comes after a long silence from La Dispute since the release of their latest album, Rooms Of The House, and the recent announcement of Title Fight’s upcoming album, Hyperview.

Title Fight Share ‘Hyperview’ Details, Stream Lead Single “Chlorine”

Back in July, Title Fight announced that they had joined forces with ANTI-, and would be enlisting acclaimed producer Will Yip to aid in the production of their third full-length album. Now, after months of not-so-patiently waiting, fans have finally been offered their first glimpse of the group’s latest effort, a follow-up to 2013’s Spring Songs EP.

According to FADER, the Pennsylvania punk’s new record will be titled Hyperview, and it will hit shelves on February 3 of next year. The outfit has also graced us with the album’s lead single, “Chlorine,” which can be enjoyed at …
