Well it’s been awhile since Transit released another cover song on what they dub “Transit Thursdays,” it appears that the boys are bringing it back. Transit decided that this week’s cover song will be Third Eye Blind’s ultra depressing song “Motorcycle Drive By,” and they do a really fantastic job of creating a new sound with it. MUSIC VIDEO: Third Eye Blind – Slow Motion

Over a decade after its initial release on Blue, Third Eye Blind have released a music video for the fan favorite “Slow Motion.”

Set against the live version of the song that first appeared on 2006′s A Collection, the video gives you a perfect visual accompaniment to the track’s intimate feel. You can view the clip after the jump.

There seems to be no real explanation for the videos release other than to fill headlines, but it works so kudos to 3EB for that. The band does have a new album planned for 2012, so hopefully we’ll be …

La Dispute covers Third Eye Blind

La Dispute played a hometown show on August 24 at The Pyramid Scheme and performed a bunch of great cover songs. The one that stood out from the pack was their cover of Third Eye Blind’s ginle “Graduate,” that can be seen by clicking past the jump. According to the source of the video, it is positive that footage from this performance will be included in the “Weekend Warriors 2″ Michigan music documentary.

Bands announced for Festival for Humanity

The first bands for the first ever Festival for Humanity have been announced. Third Eye Blind, The Misfits, The New Pornographers, From Good Homes, Sister Hazel and Soul Asylum are the first of the 40 bands to be revealed. FFH will be taking place May 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Vernon, New Jersey.
