REVIEW: Uh Huh Baby Yeah! – Trash Talk

Artist: Uh Huh Baby Yeah!
Album: Trash Talk
Genre: Rock/Pop
Label: Little Heart Records/Streaker Records

Louisville’s Uh Huh Baby Yeah! channels an interestingly catchy mixture of rough-around-the-edges post-hard and all-too-catchy pop-rock on their latest release, Trash Talk.

Trash Talk opens with “Dances With Wolves,” which spouts a clear and perfect example of this mixture. The track has a stupidly catchy chorus that explodes in the listeners’ ears, while the bridge of the song mirrors aggression not unlike a former Louisville artist, Emanuel (circa Soundtrack To A Headrush era, of course).

Under The Gun presents a set of phenomenal photos by one of our brand new photographers, Corbin Alvae. We sent Corbin to the Take Action Tour on February 10, 2013 in Detroit. Check out his review and photos below!

February is the month where we show our significant other how much we love them (which should really be all the time, not just on a specific date). MUSIC VIDEO: The Used – “Hands And Faces”

Can The Used frontman Bert McCracken be your hero, baby?

That’s the main question posited in the music video for “Hands and Faces” the second single from The Used’s fifth album and their first with Hopeless Records, 2012′s Vulnerable. I have a question of my own: Why did it take them so long to put out a video for this song? The single initially came out in February of last year.

Oh, maybe because Vulnerable was reissued in January with a second disc chock full of b-sides and demos? That’s actually a pretty good reason. Thanks for clearing …

The Used likely need no introduction as they’ve become one of the most popular acts in their respective scene.
