STREAM: The Swellers – “Bad News” (Demo)

The Swellers have taken a moment from writing their upcoming fourth full length to release a song through No Sleep Records’ YouTube page for the sake of giving fans a taste of what’s to come

Even though it’s purely a demo and may never officially make an appearance on subsequent releases, “Bad News” surely shows some progression in the band. The quartet’s drummer, Jonathan Diener picks up the mic in place of his brother for the first time ever and really gives his all for his performance that leaves me personally wondering why he hasn’t done so sooner.

Michigan punk-rockers, The Swellers have released their brand new music video for “Hands” off of their latest EP, Running Out of Places to Go. Check out the video at PupFresh.com.

In other news, according to PupFresh.com, 100% of the digital sales this week from The Swellers’ Running Out of Places to Go EP will be donated to help out Occupy Sandy. The movement seeks to help Hurricane Sandy victims in New Jersey by providing blankets, flashlights, batteries, baby food, toiletries and more. Donations can be made here.

WATCH: The Swellers Experience “Pretty Normal Activity”

Flint, Michigan punk diehards The Swellers are some of the wittiest guys in the current alternative scene. To celebrate the Halloween season, Anto Boros (part-time documentarian/full-time bassist for The Swellers) asks what would happen when his band and friends spend a night in an unknown place in his new short, Pretty Normal Activity. STREAM: Pentimento – “Almost Atlantic”

Buffalo rock outfit Pentimento have released a brand new song titled “Almost Atlantic”. The new track is off of the band’s upcoming debut full-length due out on November 13 on Paper & Plastic Records.

Aside from the new song, Pentimento also kick off their tour with The Swellers and Diamond Youth today, the first show of the two-week tour. All of the tour dates for the band can be found here and make sure to head through the jump to give this great new song a listen.

Buffalo rockers Pentimento have released a brand new song titled “Unless”. The track comes off of the band’s debut self-titled album due out November 13 on both Paper & Plastic and Black Numbers.

Pentimento Announce Autumn Tour 2012

UTG favorites Pentimento have added more touring dates to the pre-Fest shows and can be viewed on UTG.

The dates start in Allentown, PA on October 18 and end in Detroit on November 10 so be sure to pick up your tickets when they become available. Look out for shows with The Swellers, Daylight, and Diamond Youth on this tour run. The UTG team will definitely be attending their November 10 date. The Swellers Announce Australian Tour

Our Michigan friends in The Swellers have announced that they will be going out on a headlining tour in Australia this October.
