The internet came alive last night when word broke that The Scenic would be dropping off the remaining dates of the 2011 American tour with Sparks The Rescue, The Dangerous Summer, and The Graduate. No reason was given at the time of cancellation, but a recent tweet from The Dangerous Summer’s Cody Payne has confirmed the band is no more. You can view tweet from the band and Payne below. The Venue formally known as Skelletones is under a new name, management, and is nowhere near ready to give up on rocking. Shortly after Skelletones had its last hurrah, The Scenic [Victory Records] stopped to the Grand Rapids joint on its fifth day of the “Get to the Choppa” tour. Hopes were high for me with a Schwarzenegger-themed tour.
