The Maine Stream Song Clip

The Maine have released a short little video advertising their new book, titled Roads. In the clip the band features a sample of the brand new song “Love And Drugs.” You can watch the video and listen to the clip by taking a look below the jump.

If you haven’t purchased Roads yet then you can grab your very own copy by heading right here. The book is a compilation of behind the scenes photos with the band over the last five years.

NEW SONG: The Maine – “Birthday In LA” (Acoustic)

The Maine  recently performed an acoustic set at Loony Tunes CD Store in New York this past Sunday, and sometime mid-set, the Arizona pop rock group decided to play a rendition of a new song off their upcoming album, Forever Halloween.

“Birthday In LA” is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a song about frontman John O’Callaghan’s birthday in the city of angels.

AltPress is currently streaming “Happy,” lead single off of  The Maine‘s upcoming record, Forever Halloween.

The Brendan Benson (of The Raconteurs) produced album will be independently released stateside on June 4, and as an international release through Rude Records.

Forever Halloween

The Maine Release Title, Artwork & Release Date For New Album

The Maine have been working on a new album for a little while now and today we finally have a small glimpse into what we can expect from them. We now know that the album will be titled Forever Halloween, and it will be independently released by the band and their management company on June 4. Pre-orders will be available starting April 16. The Maine Wrap Recording On Fourth Album

While you probably spent the weekend either 1) enjoying the relative freedom of your nascent spring break, 2) groggily shaking off the last vestiges of your spring break, or 3) mainlining Netflix straight to your eyeballs (if you’re like me), the dudes in The Maine have been keeping themselves very productive.

Especially guitarist Jared Monaco. On Friday he mentioned on Twitter that he had laid down five tracks for a “punk” EP in the span of an hour.

Mayday-Parade

WATCH: Mayday Parade – “When You See My Friends”

Mayday Parade released a music video today for their song “When You See My Friends” off of their self-titled 2011 release.

The video is composed of a series of black and white live shots from their tour with The Maine this past fall. Although it could have probably been edited better, the end of the video suddenly makes the switch from the song’s recording to the band actually performing live, enabling viewers to hear Mayday Parade fans screaming. All in all, however, the video is entertaining and sure to drive Mayday Parade fans crazy. Watch the video below.

UTG PHOTOS: Mayday Parade & The Maine (10/19/12)

Under The Gun photographer Tori Thomas grabbed some photos at the first night of the Mayday Parade & The Maine college tour with special guests The Postelles. The Tour kicked off at Grand Valley State in Allendale, MI on October 19.

I traveled to Grand Valley State expecting a great performance from Mayday Parade and The Maine, and from what I can tell, that’s what I got. The first band to perform was The Postelles. MUSIC VIDEO: The Maine – “Thinking Of You”

The Maine have released the official music video for their song “Thinking Of You”. Their upcoming DVD, Anthem For A Dying Breed, is going to be released on November 19 off of Action Theory Records. They are also currently on tour with Mayday Parade.

STREAM: The Maine – “Like We Did (When We Were Lost)” (New Version)

The Maine chose to release a brand new version of their track “Like We Did (When We Were Lost)” and can be heard here. You can view The Maine’s upcoming tour dates in the video too.

This song does not have an intended destination but UTG will keep you in the loop if it ends up anywhere. Watch out for the release of the group’s forthcoming live DVD, Anthem For A Dying Breed, that will hit stores on November 19 through Action Theory Records.

The Maine Postpone DVD

Rock band The Maine planned to release a DVD on October 16, but it has been postponed until November 19. The DVD, called Anthem for A Dying Breed, will have more features added to it in the time of the delay.

The band released a statement: “The original release date was set for October 16th 2012.Due to errors in the editing process and manufacturing delays, we regret to announce that the DVD will now be released on November 19th 2012. With the release being pushed back, we decided to take this time to add on some additional bonus

Rock outfit The Maine are pleased to release a stream of their brand new track, entitled “You’ll Never Know,” and is currently on rotation here at Under The Gun Review.

The Maine’s John O’Callaghan Breaks Humerus

The Maine frontman John O’Callaghan has suffered a broken humerus and we have a picture of him recovering in the hospital. UTG has absoilutely no clue how this tragic event happened but we wish O’Callaghan a speedy recovery process.
