June 7th, 2013 Kendra Beltran The Lonely Island performed their latest single “Semicolon” on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Alanis Morissette.
Dressed as typical nerds from an 80s teen movie, the men of Lonely Island and Alanis Morissette gave fans a grammar lesson, but not without a cascade of pop culture references from Urkel to Alf. After Alanis was done acting “thug” she broke out into “Ironic” and all was well with the world.
The Lonely Island’s The Wack Album drops June 11.

June 5th, 2013 Adrian Garza Consistently outdoing themselves with every track, The Lonely Island have decided to end their promotional #WackWednesdays music video series with a bang.
“Spell It Out” serves as a great joke in and of itself while serving as a parody of the all-too-common tradition of rappers spelling out their own names in their songs. But instead of directly spelling out his own name, Andy Samberg gets a little creative and… well, let’s leave that part up to you to figure out.

May 29th, 2013 Mike Sacchetti In promotion for their new album entitled, The Wack Album, The Lonely Island have been releasing new music every Wednesday calling it, you guessed it, “Wack Wednesdays.” The next addition to their catalog is the track, “Go Kindergarten,” which features pop female vocalist, Robyn.
While neither The Lonely Island nor Robyn actually appear in this video, there is a hilarious group of young adults with paper bags over their heads acting out the lyrics for you. In addition, random hashtags appear on the screen during the duration of the video, which include everything from, “#SorryWrongText,” #DeathToMolly,” and “#MollyRingwald”
January 27th, 2013 James Shotwell More than a year has passed since Drake and the Young Money crew brought the phrase “YOLO” to the tongues and inebriated texts of people around the world. For better or worse, it seems everyone has something to appreciate about the idea “you only live once,” even if it’s nothing more than the courage to do something that could end said life much faster than the average person.
