MUSIC VIDEO: Mastodon – Dry Bone Valley

Mastodon have released another music video gem off of their latest album The Hunter for our viewing pleasure. Their video for “Dry Bone Valley,” directed by Tom Biskup, takes us down the animated path of evil images flying quickly towards the camera lens. Mastodon have made another great video and can be seen by simply heading through the jump!

Not even a week ago UTG let out news that Mastodon would be touring North America with Opeth and Ghost. Please let us know what you think of the video and tour announcement by simply heading through the jump!

Red Fang European Tour With Mastodon

Red Fang just wrapped up a highly successful touring stint with Mastodon and now it has been confirmed that the two will head out to tour Europe together. The group will provide direct support for Mastodon on this entire run.

This schedule starts off on January 10, in Finland, and will conclude February 10th in Birmingham, England.

Red Fang had this to say:
“The US tour we just did with those guys was one of the best ever so we are thrilled to be continuing this magical journey with Mastodon in Europe!”

Mastodon Perform “Black Tongue” On Jools Holland

Mastodon Announce 2012 UK Tour

Following the recent success of their fantastic new album The Hunter, Mastodon have announced plans to tour the UK in early 2012.

Kicking off February 5 at the O2 arena, Mastodon currently have six total dates announced. You can view details on all the shows afte rthe jump.

I know it’s only a week of gigs, but there are some HUGE venues listed here. If you can go, please do.

Mastodon have announced a Fall/Winter US headlining tour with support from Dillinger Escape Plan and Red Fang. This will be the group’s first stateside run following the late September release of The Hunter.

Though on sale dates are scattered, we do have a full itinerary for you to feast your eyes upon. We know you haven’t heard The Hunter, but trust us when we say this is a tour you won’t want to miss!

Mastodon post new song and reveal album details

Mastodon has big news for every one of their fans today! The band has stated that the official release date of The Hunter will be Septmber 27 via Reprise Records. Along with this news they have premiered the video of American folk artist A.J. Fosik creating the amazing sculpture for The Hunter’s cover art piece. In the video is the band’s new song “Black Tongue” that can be listened to. Watch the video below and behold the amazing craftsmanship as well as musicianship.
