British rockers the Darkness have released the official animated video their new single “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us” and it hits hard! The visuals start off of the room of a super-fan, who ends up illustrating the whacky adventures of the group.

Panic! At The Disco Cover The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”

Pop rock heartthrobs Panic! At The Disco recently performed a cover of The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” at Center Stage Live. Lucky for us, the age of the internet has provided Youtube and as such, we have the footage.

You can view the cover after the jump, which I’m happy to say went over much better than anticipated. Not to say there’s anything wrong with P!ATD, but it takes a lot of gull to even attempt those notes and Brendon Urie simply kills it.

Foo Fighters/ The Darkness Supergroup?

This is the latest bit of new from NME.

It has been reported that Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins are setting up to form a supergroup. Apparently, Justin’s ex. fiance/ former manager of The Darkness Sue Whitehouse will be filling the vocal position. Interesting choice.

These are the only bits of information we have obtained, as of now, but UTG will be sure to bring you more on this story as it develops.
