Sometimes it seems like our coverage of upcoming films is too far ahead to appreciate the features opening in the immediate future, but this story is one that is far too cool let pass by.

While us moviegoers are busying ourselves with anticipation for Summer 2013 blockbusters, Hollywood is hard at work on features that won’t be released until 2014 or 2015. Spider-man tops the weekend box office proving, once again, that it is the summer of superheroes. Oliver Stone’s new movie, Savages was met with mediocre reviews and numbers, landing itself the number four slot this weekend. The official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has finally arrived online.

Offering more than a handful of glimpses into the plot and feel of Marvel’s latest reboot, the trailer The Amazing Spider-Man does a great job of separating the new series from the one released LESS THAN A DECADE AGO. You can view the trailer after the jump.

Bloggers and comic fans have been debating how “good” the trailer is all day long. If you ask me, it looks to be a bit more light-hearted, possibly like Kick-Ass, which is definitely a good. What do you think? Comment below …

‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ sequel confirms release

It has been confirmed already that The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will have its official opening day, on May 2, 2014, through Columbia Pictures.
