If you were a young metalhead who looked forward to attending Ozzfest every summer, 2004 was a monumental year. It was a year that saw the release of Lamb of God’s Ashes of the Wake, Killswitch Engage’s The End of Heartache and Shadows Fall’s The War Within, all of which I considered before ultimately deciding upon Mastodon’s Leviathan for my contribution to our list of 10-year anniversary tours we’d like to see in 2014.

Texas In July Announce Tour Dates, Confirm JT Cavey As Permanent Vocalist

Lancaster, Pennsylvania metalcore act Texas In July have announced a US headlining tour that will take place in April and May of this year. Structures and Elitist will be joining them for the full tour, with Erra and Myka, Relocate both performing on select dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 7, and you can see the full list of dates, along with all of Texas In July’s upcoming tour plans, after the break.

Texas In July Welcome New Vocalist, Begin Working On New Album

Texas In July have finally broken their public silence following months of little-to-no contact with fans.

It was August 2013 when the world last saw Texas In July hit the stage, and as an announcement from the band reveals today, it was around that same time the members themselves wondered if they would ever play together again. Alex Good, longtime frontman, was leaving, and as soon as tour ended guitarist Christian Royer decided it was time for him to depart as well. The band was in shambles, but they have since found a new frontman and are once again ready …


The Devil Wears Prada Announce North American Tour

The Devil Wears Prada have announced they will be trekking across North America throughout November and December along with The Ghost Inside, Volumes, and Texas In July. The massive string of shows is in support of the metalcore giants’ forthcoming record, 8:18, which is set to hit stores September 17 via Roadrunner Records. Pre-orders for the full-length are available here.

STREAM: Texas In July – “Time-Lapse”

With less than a month away from the street date for the deluxe edition re-release of their self-titled album, Texas In July have streamed “Time-Lapse” today. After their mini-tour with Reflections in July, the Pennsylvania metalcore outfit will be performing on the Kevin Says Stage of the Vans Warped Tour until the tour ends in early August.

For Today Announce The Unshakeable Tour

Fresh off of the end of Warped Tour and the release of their fourth full length album, For Today have decided to make their highly-anticipated announcement for their latest headlining tour this fall.
