WATCH: Taking Back Sunday Give Guitarist Eddie Reyes A Male Stripper For His Birthday (ON STAGE)

Taking Back Sunday have been criss-crossing the United States with a slew of their closest friends on the tenth anniversary tour celebration of their debut album, Tell All Your Friends. A few of us at UTG have gone to various dates, and it could very well be our favorite tour of 2012. I would suggest all of you rush out to attend the date closest to you, but the run is ending this weekend, so unless you’re in New York you’re probably out of luck.

Earlier this week, TBS brought their roadshow to Rhode Island on the night of …

Taking Back Sunday To Release Two Live Albums From TAYF Tour

New York rockers Taking Back Sunday have been killing their Tell All Your Friends Tenth Anniversary Tour. They’ve recently let on that there are more plans involving TAYF10 to come: two live albums, one acoustic and one regular. The tour isn’t even over yet, though; at least two UTG staffers are going to Taking Back Sunday shows in the coming week.

The self-released live albums will also be a test to see whether they want to sign with a new label or be a DIY band. Credit goes to sister site PropertyOfZack for digging this one up.

WATCH: Taking Back Sunday Discuss “Rivalry” With Brand New

The so-called “feud” between Taking Back Sunday and Brand New is as old as the misuse of emo. Since the days following the release of Tell All Your Friends people have used message boards and venue parking lots to debate the cause of the battle that reportedly inspired a slew of fan favorites from each artist, and last night in Philadelphia Taking Back Sunday finally broke their silence. I’ll let the guys from New Jersey tell their own story instead of boring you with my interpretation, so just click through the link below and enjoy.

WATCH: Taking Back Sunday (featuring Michelle Nolan) – “Bike Scene”

Taking Back Sunday has been killing it on their Tell All Your Friends Tenth Anniversary Tour with Bayside. At the Troubadour on October 23, they were joined by guitarist John Nolan’s sister, Michelle Nolan, for a semi-acoustic performance of “Bike Scene.” Michelle does backing vocals originally on the record, so fans there were in for a treat.

The band is still on tour, with dates listed here. You can watch the video here on UTG by clicking “Read more”.

UTG PHOTOS: Tell All Your Friends 10th Anniversary Tour (10/4/12)

After going on a mini-summer hiatus following Vans Warped Tour, Under The Gun’s Head of Photography, Kellie Gannon, is back with brand new photos from the Taking Back Sunday “Tell All Your Friends” 10th Anniversary Tour in Cleveland!

As my first show back with Under The Gun since July’s Warped Tour in Cleveland, it seemed only appropriate that I should shoot a very special show.  Taking Back Sunday’s “Tell All Your Friends” 10th Anniversary Tour with Bayside was an absolutely perfect start to the fall roster of shows to come through town.  Not only did this tour …

Bayside to Open For Taking Back Sunday on Tell All Your Friends Tour

Welp, this makes sense. Via another leaked image of a tour poster, Bayside has been unofficially announced as the support for Taking Back Sunday’s Tell All Your Friends 10 Year Anniversary Tour. Both bands are from New York, both have the same fan base, it just is a tour that just works. I know for one that I will be at either a DC or Philly date (depends on where they decide to go). If you’re not familiar, this year marks the 10 year anniversary of Taking Back Sunday’s critically acclaimed album Tell All Your Friends. Many would go as …

Taking Back Sunday to Play Tell All Your Friends Anniversary Tour

This Fall is going to be insane. Pop-punk band Taking Back Sunday confirmed in a recent video with Punk Videos Rock that they will be playing a 10 Year Anniversary tour for their mindblowingly awesome and influential record Tell All Your Friends. Take that in for a second, Taking Back Sunday is going to be playing Tell All Your Friends, probably front to back. Yes, you did almost just have a minor posi-jump induced heart attack. While they didn’t give any official details (Warped Tour makes the bands on the tour keep their fall plans tight lipped), we …

UTG TV: Taking Back Sunday Interview

The UTG TV crew came through East Lansing a few weeks ago and met up with our good friends in Taking Back Sunday. The New Jersey boys that practically created the modern emo scene were kind enough to share some tales from the road, talk future tour plans, and even drop some hints at some possible new music!

UTG TV is the term used for interviews and acoustic performances that appear UNCUT and are presented and conducted by Under The Gun Review [www.underthegunreview.net]. Hosted by James Shotwell, this video series features both signed and unsigned acts from every genre imaginable
