STREAM: Daft Punk’s new album, ‘Random Access Memories’

If the video trailer teasing the first track off the new Daft Punk album, Random Access Memories, wasn’t enough ear candy for one day, the public can now stream the entire album for free via iTunes.

The robot duo has been doing an excellent job of teasing the album up to this point in time. From 30-second Saturday Night Live commercials, to having the public debate whether or not the full version of, “Get Lucky,” was legitimate, the wait is finally over.

Pop Evil Tease “Trenches” Video

Michigan rock outfit Pop Evil have released a teaser for their “Trenches” music video.

Set to debut in full within the next twenty-four hours, our first glimpse of “Trenches” is an all-too-brief one. We see the group, complete with newer members Chachi Riot and Nick Fuelling, walking towards an aging mansion with a look of determination. We expect some epic performance footage will follow, but we cannot confirm that at this time. You can view the teaser at the end of this post.

The number of super groups announced over the course of the year has us scratching our heads. Who will be the next sensation? UTG has the answer, with Dim Mak, Steve Aoki and Afrojack’s collaborative project Afroki.

AFI Reveal Another Teaser Video Entitled “Convergence”

A couple weeks ago, AFI released a teaser video preparing us for September 2013. Today, the band unleashed another teaser video, entitled “Convergence,” but this time has left fans scratching their heads. However, it’s safe to say we will be hearing something from the band come this fall.

It’s been quite some time since the last official release from the band. Their eighth studio album, Crash Love, was released way back in 2009 and to pretty favorable reviews. After what we’ve seen thus far from a teaser standpoint, we could expect a slightly darker direction from the band. What …

Hopeless Records’ newer signees, Driver Friendly, have announced the release of their new EP entitled, Peaks + Valleys. While technically this EP doesn’t make it the band’s first official release on Hopeless Records, it is slated to include three new songs that have yet to be released.

MGMT Releases Preview of New Song, “Alien Days”

If you’re an MGMT fan, you might want to dust off your old boombox. Today, MGMT released a trippy video containing a preview of their new song, “Alien Days,” which is being released as an exclusive Record Store Day cassingle. The cassette will also feature the B-side track entitled, “Message 7 from Hearty White.”

The video teaser includes a cassette tape inserting itself into an old car, and a hand puppet driving a car off into a psychedelic world. So, pretty much exactly what you’d expect from MGMT. The band has yet to unveil new material since their ambitious 2010 …
