After a week of recovery, UTG is excited to finally bring you a collection of photographs captured on our journey to SXSW 2012.

We posted a lot of SXSW footage today, so how about one more?

One of our favorite up and comers, Texas’ Larry g(EE), helped us celebrate the Tuesday kickoff of SXSW last week with a brilliant performance atop the Bling Pig bar. UTG TV was on hand to capture a couple of songs from the performance and tonight we’re excited to unveil our exclusive footage of “I Don’t Know” for your viewing pleasure. Former Woe, Is Me frontman Tyler Carter made his live solo debut last week in Texas and UTG TV was on hand to capture the moment.

Taking place at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, Texas amidst the insanity known as SXSW, Tyler Carter’s first set featured four new tracks, as well as a piano rendition of a Woe classic. In the middle of his set, Carter performed “Love Sex Riot,” a song he informed UTG would be his next single. Doug Benson To Host 2012 SXSW Film Awards

The organizers behind SXSW have announced comedian Doug Benson as host of their 2012 Film Awards.

No stranger to SXSW, Benson will surely bring his unique brand of hilari-t-h-c to the annual event. Though not yet announced, we’re willing to bet he’ll be hosting or performing in one facet or another throughout the entire festival, but this is one you event you will not want to miss.

SXSW 2012 Unveils First Round Of Band Announcements

We know it is still November, but how can you not already be excited for SXSW 2012? Given our wealth of coverage at this years event, we’re hoping to make next year even bigger and by the looks of the first round of bands, so are festival organizers.

Today the official SXSW website unveiled the first round of band announcements for the March 2012 event. This is obviously nowhere near the complete list of talent, but names such as Against Me, VHS Or Beta, and We Are The Oceans should be enough to push a few more ticket sales. You …
