WATCH: Alicia Keys’ Super Bowl National Anthem Performance

Today’s big game has only just begun, but already one incredible performance has surfaced online.

After all the fuss made in recent weeks about Beyonce’s lip synced performance during Obama’s inauguration, today all eyes were on Alicia Keys to see how she would choose to tackle America’s nation anthem. She took center stage accompanied by only her piano, and the results were as heavenly as can be (even if they were recorded in a studio). You can view the performance after the jump.

Today is a strange day thus far. Frank Ocean and Chris Brown are throwing punches, Rick Ross is evading gunfire, and now video surfaces of Michelle Williams destroying all hope in a Destiny’s Child comeback in 2013.

KarenCivil brought to light a new video this morning that features Michelle Williams doing an interview about the rumored Destiny’s Child performance during the 2013 Super Bowl. STREAM: Destiny’s Child – “Nuclear”

We first caught wind of new Destiny’s Child material yesterday, and now the audio has arrived.

“Nuclear” is the first song to be recorded by Beyonce and whichever two girls she still talks to since 2004 (just kidding, it’s Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams). The song is taken from the group’s upcoming compilation, Love Songs, due out later this month.

First impressions amongst our staff are pretty divided. A lot has changed for the women in Destiny’s Child since their last album, so it will be interesting to see what the world thinks of their latest evolution. You can …

The NFL tweeted earlier today, confirming that on February 3, 2013, Beyonce Knowles will step onto the field at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana to perform at the Super Bowl XLVII half-time show.

CBS, who received $550,000 in fines for mistakenly airing Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction in 2004, will be broadcasting the event for the first time since the alleged accident.

Additionally, according to The Washington Post, this is the first time a young female artist will headline the event since 2004′s wardrobe malfunction which caused the NFL to take over half-time production.

With that said, …

MUSIC VIDEO: OK Go – Needing/Getting

OK Go have released their official music video for “Needing/Getting.”

Staying true to themselves, OK Go have once again pulled out all the stops for their latest video. The clip features the band performing, which is a word I use loosely, their new single using nothing but their voices and the car they are driving. It is truly as crazy as it sounds and you can view the video for “Needing/Getting” by clicking past the jump.

As much as I love OK Go’s brilliant video concepts, it usually takes at least two views before I even notice the track. Having …

Ferris Bueller’s Commercial Has Arrived (Video)

Following the explosion of online social activity after a ten-second clip of Matthew Brodrick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller appeared online last week, Honda has stepped forward and released the entire commercial.

Before we get to the video, let’s all take a moment and breathe a possibly-sad sigh of relief that Ferris Bueller 2 is not happening (yet). While it would be great to feel the kind of total escapism the original film offered, any movie fan can tell you finding any sequel that lives up the original is the equivalent to discovering a lost city of Gold. So …
