Release Info Leaks For Norma Jean’s Sixth Studio Album

Norma Jean have kept quiet about their upcoming album for far too long. So much to the point that several online retailers (like this one or this one) have beaten the metalcore heavyweights to the punch on releasing details for their upcoming sixth album that is currently being titled as Wrongdoers.

This will be the band’s first release in just over 3 years, and just like with Meridional, the record is being released through Razor & Tie. NJ have already said earlier this week that they will be debuting the album’s name, cover, track listing, release date, …

Summer Slaughter Tour Dates Announced

The lineup for this year’s Summer Slaughter tour is looking pretty impressive so far, considering they have bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Norma Jean, Animals As Leaders and many others already lined up for the tour. Now we have the tour routing available to check out.

The tour will kick off on July 19 in San Francisco, then wrap up in Denver on August 16. Take a look below the jump for a full list of dates to see if these bands will be playing in your city.

Washington D.C. rock outfit Periphery have made the decision to drop off the Summer Slaughter Tour due to a family emergency. We never like to hear these updates but the band has to deal with the issue at hand.

Summer Slaughter Tour Dates/Lineup Announced

Finally, the full tour dates and band lineup for this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour have been officially announced. Check them out below! The tour starts on 7/20 in Los Angeles, California, and ends on 8/25 in Aneheim, California. There are going to be bands performing such as Between the Buried & Me, Cannibal Corpse, VEil of Maya, Job For A Cowboy and many more! It’s also been announced that there will be guest appearances throughout the tour including The Contortionist, Rings of Saturn and more to be announced.

Darkest Hour drops off of Summer Slaughter Tour

Darkest Hour have announced that, due to “unforeseen circumstances,” the band will have to drop off of the Summer Slaughter Tour. The current statement from the band can be viewed right here.

An official fall tour has been revealed featuring Detroit’s own The Black Dahlia Murder headlining the event. Support for this tour will be coming from All Shall Perish and Cannibal Corpse. TBDM is currently touring in support of their latest release, Ritual. View all of the dates below.

Summer Slaughter bands announced

Half of this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour line-up has been revealed. Headliners include Whitechapel and The Black Dahlia Murder who will share the stage with Darkest Hour, Dying Fetus, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Impending Doom. Dates for the tour, as well as additional bands, have not yet been announced.

A Chat with Darkest Hour

This past weekend Alex Gohl and I went back to good ol’ American hardcore with veterans Darkest Hour. Their unique blend of hardcore and punk has caught the eye of many people as of late. With their brand new album out entitled The Eternal Return wowing critics and fans alike this group is proving they deserve to be in the spotlight.
