Comedian Katt Williams Sued For Allegedly Punching His Assistant In The Face

This weekend is off to a rough start for comedian Katt Williams. TMZ is reporting that the Pimp Chronicles comic is being sued for $5 million dollars by his former assistant over claims Williams punched her and caused permanent damages.

The woman, Melissa Ishage, filed her lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court this past week. She claims she was working as WIlliams’ assistant in his home until things turned sour on October 6, 2012. Wu Tang Clan Members Accused of Illegal Sampling

A report has surfaced that names Wu Tung Clan members Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man and RZA as defendants in a suit accusing them of illegal sampling. The accuser is Bridgeport Music and Westbound Records.

The track in question is “New Wu” from ‘Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. II, a Raekwon solo album released in 2009. It is accused of a 12-second or four measure cut “I’ve Changed” by the Magictones. Daddy Yankee Cancels Tour, Makes Promoter’s Eyes Bleed

Rapper Daddy Yankee is in hot water this morning following a lawsuit who claims stress from cancelled Argentinian tour caused him to bleed from his eyes.

TMZ is reporting that Yankee, after accepting an $820,000 advance from a concert promoter in Argentina and agreeing to extend his stay to a 10-date tour for another $480,000, refused to make good on the deal only days away from the first show because the promoter would not send him the final $480,000 in advance. The promoter even went as far as to guarantee it upon Yankee’s arrival in Argentina, but Yankee refused.

Insane Clown Posse Sued For $2 Million

AllHipHop is reporting that Detroit based hip hop group Insane Clown Posse are being sued for $2 million after reportedly sampling songs without permission.

The suit was filed in Ohio by Entity Productions, a company claiming the group used Halloween-themed tracks without their permission for seven songs without permission of the music’s owner, The Midnight Syndicate. The Midnight Syndicate is apparently pissed and as such, seek $2.1 million in damages.

The albums included in the suit are Mirror Mirror (Twiztid) and Tales From the Lotus Pod (featuring Dark Lotus).

Lil Wayne being sued for $15 Million over ‘Bedrock’ track

Lil Wayne is spending more time in the courtroom than the studio lately with his recent allegations and lawsuits pending. Apparently the rapper is being sued for $15 million dollars by Done Deal Enterprises for stealing parts of his smash single “Bedrock” that have claimed to have been copyrighted. The company is accusing not only Wayne but Young Money Records and Cash Money for stealing the recordings. This track comes off of the Young Money compilation album We Are Young Money.

WE will see Weezy in the courtroom, for the hundredth time, on October 12.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are being sued for $27 million

Official documents have been released regarding Bone Thugs-N-Harmony being sued for $27 million dollars. Roland Brown filed the lawsuit on April 28th and includes him accusing Bone Thugs breaching their contract and not paying royalties towards a Mo Thugs Record. The lawsuit states that Brown wrote “Take Your Time” and “Here With Me,” that sold a million copies, off of the Mo Thugs Family Scriptures album. Yes, this gigantic lawsuit is over two songs. Slim Thug being sued for pistol-whipping incident

On March 18th, Clarence Evans filed a lawsuit against Slim Thug and Raymond Thomas II for an assault that took place. During a “Business Meeting” Evans claimed Slim struck him in the face “suddenly and without warning” with the end of his pistol and then stole all of his money.

Clarence Evans is suing Slim Thug and Raymond Thomas II for a multitude of charges including: medical, hospital and pharmaceutical charges, lost wages, pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical disability and disfigurement.
