The doctor is in and he has some good news for his patients.

Dr. Dre has popped up in the media recently, on Power 106′s Big Boy’s Neighborhood, explaining that Eminem’s eighth yet-to-be-titled studio album is in the works! Read the statement from him through the jump and get ready for the onslaught of Eminem news that’s about to hit your ears and eyes in the coming months.

Dre’s recent production credits last year include 50 Cent’s “New Day” as well as appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Enter Shikari Return To The Studio

Enter Shikari have recently announced via Facebook status that they’re in the middle of a quick stay at a studio to record three new songs “just for the hell of it”.

The band will be recording their long-awaited follow up to their third full length release, A Flash Flood Of Colour, and have actually brought back the entire production team that made AFFOC happen for this project.

Shortly after this, the band will be heading out on two short run tours of the US and of the UK before returning to the studio once more.

In the process, they’ve enlisted the help of A Lot Like Birds vocalist, Kurt Travis to write and sing on one of the songs.

Never ones to withhold their creative process, the girls have posted a few studio videos during the time spent with Kurt to give an inside look at how some artists write songs.

The Wonder Years Finish Up Pre-Production

Pop-punk outfit The Wonder Years have finished up pre-production on their new record and are beginning recording now. They have no target release date, but it isn’t out of the question for them to finish up this year. We’ll keep you updated with that as time goes along. Front man Dan “Soupy” Campbell is prominent on Twitter, so I’m sure we’ll have an occasional look in the studio in time.
