Dr. Dre has popped up in the media recently, on Power 106′s Big Boy’s Neighborhood, explaining that Eminem’s eighth yet-to-be-titled studio album is in the works! Read the statement from him through the jump and get ready for the onslaught of Eminem news that’s about to hit your ears and eyes in the coming months.
Dre’s recent production credits last year include 50 Cent’s “New Day” as well as appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city.

March 20th, 2013 Adrian Garza The folks behind Panda Studio’s The Waiting Room series have been releasing videos featuring the lineup of The Story So Far and Man Overboard‘s co-headlining Suppy Nation Tour over the past couple of weeks.

March 7th, 2013 Mike Sacchetti Toro Y Moi recently stopped the Moog Music factory in Asheville, North Carolina to performed his song, “So Many Details” as a part of the Moog Sound Lab performance series. The series features artists performing a different take on their songs using primarily Moog based gear. February 26th, 2013 Grant Trimboli Detroit, MI rock outfit The Company We Keep are currently starting work in the studio on their brand new album. They are recording this release with producer Ed Ackerson.

February 18th, 2013 Adrian Garza Enter Shikari have recently announced via Facebook status that they’re in the middle of a quick stay at a studio to record three new songs “just for the hell of it”.
The band will be recording their long-awaited follow up to their third full length release, A Flash Flood Of Colour, and have actually brought back the entire production team that made AFFOC happen for this project.
Shortly after this, the band will be heading out on two short run tours of the US and of the UK before returning to the studio once more.

February 15th, 2013 Jacob Tender Strawberry Girls are still plugging away, working to finish their upcoming record, French Ghetto.
In the process, they’ve enlisted the help of A Lot Like Birds vocalist, Kurt Travis to write and sing on one of the songs.
Never ones to withhold their creative process, the girls have posted a few studio videos during the time spent with Kurt to give an inside look at how some artists write songs.

January 19th, 2013 Jacob Tender Conditions went back in the studio this past fall to record their second full length album. January 12th, 2013 Dan Bogosian Once upon a time, At The Drive In split up into two bands, The Mars Volta and Sparta. The Mars Volta gained a ton of fame, and Sparta gained a little. At The Drive In got back together, and then Sparta stayed quiet. Now Sparta has announced via Instagram that they have begun working on their fourth album.
We may have heard something new off the album last year, but it’s still good to have confirmation that a real album is on the way. Odd to think that Sparta’s creative period is coming when TMV is on …

January 12th, 2013 Dan Bogosian Pop-punk outfit The Wonder Years have finished up pre-production on their new record and are beginning recording now. They have no target release date, but it isn’t out of the question for them to finish up this year. We’ll keep you updated with that as time goes along. Front man Dan “Soupy” Campbell is prominent on Twitter, so I’m sure we’ll have an occasional look in the studio in time.
