First Footage from Steve Jobs Biopic ‘JOBS’ Surfaces

So there are a few different versions of the late Steve Jobs biopic currently in production, but JOBS is the first out of the gate with footage and release date. Starring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs (more on that below), the film follows the beginnings of Steve Jobs’ career. We’ve been granted the first footage from JOBS, courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, and it’s definitely interesting.

First of all, I love the angle that they’re taking of having the film be about Jobs trying to revamp Apple as a company. However I’m still not completely sold on the idea …

Aaron Sorkin Confirmed as Screenwriter for Sony’s Steve Jobs Movie

Aaron Sorkin (writer of The West Wing, Moneyball, The Social Network) has been confirmed as the screenwriter who will bring visionary Apple CEO Steve Jobs to the silver screen for Sony. This movie will be based around Walter Isaacson’s official biography of Steve Jobs, which came out in October. As a reminder, this movie has NOTHING to do with the other Steve Jobs movie that is also being made, starring Ashton Kutcher. HOLY SH!T: Ashton Kutcher Cast As Steve Jobs In “JOBS”

Ashton Kutcher has been cast to portray former Apple CEO Steve Jobs in an upcoming indie-biopic titled Jobs.

Variety broke the story yesterday, but we decided to hold off awhile as something this catching could easily be a prank, then found ourselves slowly coming to grips when we woke this morning to find no punchlines anywhere.

Kutcher, who currently keeps the sitcom Two And A Half Men afloat, will portray the life of Steve Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple. Joshua Michael Stern (“Swing Vote”) will direct from a script by Matt Whiteley. Five Star Institute’s Mark …

The death of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs has impacted a lot of us in many ways. Some cried, some made jokes, and if you’re like Lil Wayne, you felt moved to record a public service announcement.

Westboro Baptist Jerks to picket the funeral of Steve Jobs

Guess who is back in the Under the Gun newsfeed? That’s right, The Westboro Baptist Church. These insane “Christians” have announced that they will picket the funeral of the late and great Steve Jobs who recently passed away as a result of pancreatic cancer. The ironic thing of this announcement is the platform (and more specifically, client) in which Margie Phelps (the WBC ringleader’s daughter) used to deliver the news.
