The indie folk outfit The Paper Kites have released a new music video for their track “Tenenbaum,” and you can check it out by following the jump below.

States Stream New Album

States will release their new album, Paradigm, on December 3, but you can stream it in full after the break. This is the second full-length from the indie rock quintet, following 2011’s Room To Run, and it was funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year.

States Announce Sophomore Album

States announced yesterday that they will be releasing their sophomore full-length on December 3. The album will be titled Paradigm, and you can check out the artwork and track listing after the break. Paradigm was funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year.

Even if you’re not familiar with States’ 2011 record, Room To Run, you probably know their members’ former projects. Vocalist Mindy White was in Lydia during the Illuminate album cycle, and Stephen Laurenson, Bryan Laurenson, and Jonathan Bucklew all played in Copeland.

Birdman States Lil Wayne’s Seizure Was Due To “His Work Ethic”

Young Money owner Birdman has broken his silence regarding the rumor of Lil Wayne’s seizure last week were due to a overdosage of codeine. According to our good friends over at Alter The Press, it is apparent that States have signed a recording contract to Tooth & Nail Records. Congratulations to the group on this signing!

The label plans to re-release the band’s debut, Room To Run, on June 19 with four extra bonus tracks. More information is to come on States so stay tuned to UTG.
