Eisley Stream Track From Say Anything Split

Eisley and Say Anything may not be leaving for their upcoming US tour with HRVRD, Northern Faces, and I The Mighty until June 6, but for now, Eisley has streamed their half of their recently released split 7″ record with Say Anything.

Truth be told, “Lost And Found” isn’t anything new to fans who have followed the band over the years, this is just the first time that the track has been released to the public after it had been performed live on tour.

The split will be made available in stores, from both bands on the tour, and online …

STREAM: Giraffes? Giraffes! / Goddard 10″ Split

File this under a split I love just as much as the Pianos Become The Teeth / Touche Amore split. Massachusetts rock band Goddard and famed math rockers Giraffes? Giraffes! have digitally released their new 10″ split (which appears to be aptly titled 10″), with two new songs from Goddard and one from G?G!. The G?G! track (which may actually be three songs in one), “In The Middle Of The Night Someone Tore Off The Ceiling And Sucked Me Into The Sky / Before My Eyes Began To Boil I Saw Billions Of Tiny Webs Connecting Everything”, is …

Madina Lake Confirm Break Up; Plan Final EP

We have been keeping quiet on this story, but a few of our AbsoluteVoices brethren have been following its development for the last few weeks. Madina Lake, probably most well known for their hit “Here I Stand,” have confirmed what many have been saying for weeks and will indeed be splitting up in the near future.

Confirmation of the impending split was made by bassist Matthew Leone, who explained the decision with a short message to fans. His letter reads:

“We feel content and grateful for the ambitious goal and dream we’ve been able to realize with this project, and

Attack! Attack! (UK) Announce Break Up Plans

When I woke to a text alert telling me Attack Attack had broken up, I legitimately lept from bed in my Boston home and scrambled to my laptop. Ohio’s Attack Attack! have been one of our most covered bands, and to hear that they quietly announced their break up in the dead of the night seemed strange. Then I logged on to realize the company behind the aforementioned text alert didn’t understand how important the exclamation point is in the band’s name and that, my friends, is how I learned the UK based Attack! Attack! were going to be parting …

Tigers Jaw Announce Their Hiatus

No matter where you live, of all of the words in the dictionary, “hiatus” is one that never sits well in the ears of music fans. Tigers Jaw have recently announced their premature hiatus earlier today, citing “personal reasons” as the cause of a split among the five band mates.

The group still plans on touring the US in a few months, along with doing a run of European dates with The Menzingers in August.

Follow the jump for a full statement by the band’s keyboardist, Brianna Collins.
