MUST LISTEN: Sunny Day Real Estate – “Lipton Witch”

Record Store Day was yesterday, and there were plenty of releases for fans of all genres to look forward to. One of those releases was a split between Circa Survive and Sunny Day Real Estate. This split is particularly exciting because SDRE haven’t released new music together in fourteen years. While I do love Circa Survive, SDRE’s “Lipton Witch” is definitely the biggest reason to grab the split. You can give it a listen by taking a look below the jump.

If you missed out on grabbing the split yesterday, you can always try to pick it up on …

For those of you keeping track at home, this marks the first new Sunny Day Real Estate song since their 2000 record, The Rising Tide. Joie De Vivre

Listen To Joie De Vivre’s “Martin Park”

If there is one band that knows how to make me feel all the feels, it is Joie De Vivre. From their LP We’re All Better Than This, to their Summer Months EP, their drone delivery and bright guitars know how to make a dude wonder what the hell has happened in his life lately.

With the release “Martin Park,” from their upcoming split with Prawn, they continue this emotional assault on my core. “Martin Park” is a welcomed addition to their roster, giving fans exactly what they have come to know from the Rockford, IL act. But, within …

Taking to their social networks after months of silence, the members of The Gay Blades released a message to fans this evening announcing their plans to go their separate ways:
