April 29th, 2013 Mike Sacchetti A unique cover version of the Amy Winehouse classic, “Back To Black,” featuring Beyoncé and Andre 3000, has appeared online. The rendition is slated to be featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming movie, The Great Gatsby. Mark Ronson, who produced the original Winehouse version, first premiered the song on an episode of EastVillageRadio.
NME reports that Ronson said the collaboration was a “wonderful take on our song,” and that he was “flattered and honoured, I know Amy would be too.” While Ronson was impressed with the two superstars’ reworking, Amy Winehouse’s father wasn’t too pleased. Mitch Winehouse …

STREAM: Minus The Bear – “Walk On Air”
April 11th, 2013 Mike Sacchetti We haven’t heard much from Minus The Bear since their 2012 release, Infinity Overhead. Today, Minus The Bear unleashed their new song, “Walk On Air,” from the soundtrack to the highly anticipated video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us.
If their last album wasn’t necessarily your thing, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear shades of classic Minus The Bear on this track. It could easily be an album cut from their 2007 release, Planet of Ice, or even their debut album, Highly Refined Pirates. We’ll let you be the judge.
