Sleigh Bells Third Album Coming In 2013

Brooklyn noise rockers Sleigh Bells are currently touring in support of their second album, Reign of Terror, having opened up for the Red Hot Chili Peppers earlier in the year, too. Talking to the Huffington Post, they confirmed that they will have another studio album released in 2013.

FYF Fest Announces Lineup

Los Angeles based music festival FYF Fest announced its lineup today, and man it’s a good one. Featured on this years lineup are bands such as American Nightmare, Refused, Yeasayer, M83, Against Me! and Sleigh Bells. The music festival is on September 1 and 2 at LA Historic State Park. Tickets cost $77 and will be going on sale on June 22. Sleigh Bells Stream New Album

Noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells are currently streaming their upcoming album Reign Of Terror in its entirety. A follow up to last year’s Treats, Reign Of Terror will be released a week from today on February 21 via Mom + Pop Music.

Regarding the forthcoming release, the band’s publicist was quoted saying, “songs that are as crushing and authoritative as their title suggests; they’re effortlessly robust and heavier than any of the band’s previous output… the sonic equivalent of a beautiful shotgun to the head.”

Sleigh Bells have released their brand new music video for their song “Comeback Kid” and can be viewed after the jump. This video incorporates the duo of Alexis and Derek having fun in the street, with loaded weapons and in several different locations. The normal routine.
