Slither This Way: Aerosmith and Slash Announce Summer Tour

With Motley Crue announcing their final tour (with Alice Cooper opening, no less) and Kiss and Def Leppard hitting the road together, this was already looking like a banner summer for classic rock extravaganzas. But business has once again picked up, my friends.

Aerosmith has announced the ‘Let Rock Rule’ tour, which will hit North American arenas and amphitheaters beginning on July 10 in New York, with Slash featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspirators serving as support on all dates.

Given there are at least 3 days between each show, look for Slash to fill in those off-dates with club …

They did a one-off reunion earlier this year, followed by Scott saying he was set to rejoin VR and then Slash denying it several days later.

Weiland told Rolling Stone, “I am completely open to [a Velvet Revolver reunion] and I know there are other guys in the band that are completely open to it. There have been some things that have stood in the way
