TWITTER CONTEST: The Ready Set / Outasight In Allston, MA

Under The Gun is ecstatic to announce we have teamed up with Warner Music Group to give away a pair of tickets to see Decaydance/Sire artist The Ready Set and Warner artist Outasight perform on February 15 (Friday) at the Brighton Music Hall in Allston, MA.

Andrew McMahon Retiring “Jack’s Mannequin”

Andrew McMahon has decided to retire the “Jack’s Mannequin” moniker after eight years and three albums. McMahon, who started the project in 2004 after the demise of his former band, Something Corporate, has been hinting in recent months that he wanted to start writing music under his own name. “Jack’s Mannequin” has always been an alter-ego of sorts for the piano man. Jack’s Mannequin released their third, and final, album, People and Things, last year via Sire Records.

Andrew McMahon plays the rockstar in this mostly animated video, where he is dealing with the same occurrences every single day. There is only so much one person can accomplish and he just wants to breakoff of his duties and be free.
