BOX OFFICE RESULTS: October 12-14

Taken 2 manages to mediocre its way to the top for the second week in a row. The poorly reviewed Liam Neeson movie somehow made more money this weekend than Argo, which took second place, just edging out the new horror flick, Sinister. October is usually a good month for movies, and this weekend does not disappoint. If you want to see a horror flick then you can see Sinister, which the trailers made look pretty damn creepy. SXSW is known for playing host to films that will go on to make skin crawl worldwide and today’s horror-related trailer is no different. After winning over audiences at the annual conference in Austin back in March, Sinister makes its first appearance on the blogosphere today with a theatrical trailer sure to spark excitement.
