Melbourne metalcore outfit Dream On, Dreamer have released a message to fans that they opened up auditions for a new singer. Bassist/singer Michael McLeod AKA Mcoy is leaving and the group are preparing to carry on without him. REST IN PEACE: Suicide Silence Vocalist Mitch Lucker

The Press Enterprise is reporting that Suicide Silence vocalist Mitch Lucker was killed following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident late last night in Orange County, California. According to the report, which you can read here, Lucker was pronounced dead at 6:17 a.m. this morning at UCI Medical Center in Orange County.

“Coroner’s officials said Lucker was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday. Huntington Beach police were investigating the crash and expected to release details Thursday morning.”

Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix to Undergo Throat Surgery; Band Drops Off Uproar Festival

Papa Roach have been forced to pull out of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which launched last week in Kansas City, due to their frontman Jacoby Shaddix needing immediate surgery. He has been diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal chord and will undergo surgery to remove it.

While news of Jonny Craig’s departure from Dance Gavin Dance is still making its way around the globe, UTG has already learned who will be replacing the troubled frontman.

PropertyOfZack is reporting that Tilian Pearson, former Tides Of Man frontman, will be joining Dance Gavin Dance on all future endeavors. No official statement from Pearson or the band has been released, but we expect something will surface in the coming days.

Iwrestledabearonce Singer Pregnant, Band Remains on Warped tour

Metal band Iwrestledabearonce’s lead singer Krysta recently found out that she is expecting a child with her fiancé. In response to this fantastic news, Krysta has decided to not finish the rest of Warped Tour for obvious health reasons.

While it stinks that she will not be playing the shows, Iwrestledabearonce will continue on touring with a fill-in singer and friend Courtney LaPlante playing the rest of their dates. It’s awesome to see that the band is still playing Warped Tour despite this fast change, and we are really excited for Krysta and her future child.
